    Humphries v Wattimena

Having started to boo Luke Humphries, the crowd decide it is much more fun to sing along to his walk-on song, Cake by the Ocean by DNCE.

A catchy walk-on song is always a good way of getting the fans on side.

    Littler 6-2 Van Duijvenbode

Four 180s and a highest checkout of 150 for Luke Littler.

Not too shabby but with an average of only 90.85, he'll know there is plenty of room for improvement in the last eight tomorrow.

It could be a repeat of the World Championship final against Luke Humphries, the world champion is up next.

Not at his best but Littler was still very, very comfortable.

    Littler 4-2 Van Duijvenbode

Much better leg for Dirk van Duijvenbode and with Luke Littler nowhere close for the first time in the match, he swiftly holds.

  8. Littler holdspublished at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January

    Littler 4-1 Van Duijvenbode

Dirk van Duijvenbode is getting increasingly frustrated, although it is unclear whether it is with the crowd, Luke Littler or himself.

He has a sniff of a break when left needing 87 but misfires before he gets to the trouble and just flings his third dart aimlessly.

Littler's focus remains, though, and he hits double top to extend his lead.

  9. Three breaks in a rowpublished at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January

    Littler 3-1 Van Duijvenbode

Luke Littler restores his two-leg advantage.

He isn't as clinical as he'd like on the doubles but he eventually hits double four just as Dirk van Duijvenbode thought he'd have the chance to pounce.

    Littler 2-1 Van Duijvenbode

Dirk van Duijvenbode is on the board after a very solid leg.

No nine-darter to start this week for Luke Littler but after a couple of slightly sloppy visits, he comes back to take out 60.

    Littler v Van Duijvenbode

Dirk van Duijvenbode really gets the fans in Den Bosch going, thumping his chest and giving it some!

There are a few boos for Luke Littler as he walks out. He has been used to having the support of most of the crowd over the past six weeks.

Well, tonight won't be quite like that. He doesn't look particularly bothered, though.

    Littler v Van Duijvenbode

Next up, it's the one so many have been waiting for!

Luke Littler, the teenager sensation, faces Dutchman Dirk van Duijvenbode.

It feels like the pressure is on every time Littler plays these days but you wouldn't know it.

The 17-year-old - yes, he's had a birthday since he last played - seems completely unfazed by all the fuss surrounding him.

He hit a nine-darter in Bahrain last week. What will he treat us to this week?

  17. 'It doesn't matter how you win'published at 20:52 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January

    Cross 5-6 Van Barneveld

Raymond van Barneveld talking to ITV: "When it was 4-4 I was thinking 'I haven't deserved this' because he stormed off with a 12-darter on his own throw and you have to a nine-darter. He was missing six darts on crucial doubles in the third and then at 2-2 I started believing in myself. He was missing darts and I think the crowd helped me a bit. He is always a true gentleman at the end. At the end of the day you need to win six legs and it doesn't matter how."

On the crowd and playing in the Netherlands: "It is always so special. We don't have many events in Holland of course, and when this came out I was thinking 'oh, wow, finally back in Holland again'. It's fantastic to be here again. You can't hope for more, it's fantastic."

If you want to know how Raymond van Barneveld won that match, you only have to look at the checkout percentages.

The Dutchman hit 75%, six of eight, while Rob Cross was at just 25%, finding a double only five times from 20 attempts.

Just about everything else was in Cross' favour but not in the stat that matters: the final score.

  19. Barney wins it!published at 20:44 Greenwich Mean Time 26 January

    Cross 5-6 Van Barneveld

Incredible from Raymond van Barneveld with the pressure on!

With 201 left, he goes treble 20 twice and then treble 19 - 24 remaining.

Rob Cross has to take out 96, he can't and Barney returns to the oche to hit double 12.

How has he won that? The crowd don't care, they're ecstatic!
