Very good match but I think MVG plays better when he's getting angry with himself. And the nuke will be one the best ever without a doubt.

For now, Luke has met his nemesis but it's what he needs to realise, he has to still practice hard and it's fantastic for the sport. Very exciting.

Luke Littler absolutely a generational talent of course, but he's not quite battle hardened enough yet, and if you can find the game at the right time to stand up to him, he's going to find that he's not going to get it all his own way.

Beating Luke Littler is Michael van Gerwen's new thing. It is his thing that is really getting him going and switching him on.

The way Luke reacted was so different to the way he reacted in Berlin. There is a respect there now, where Littler is saying 'I'm going to be dealing with you for years'.

Nathan Aspinall v Michael van Gerwen

The final is set then. It's Nathan Aspinall against Michael van Gerwen.

A first weekly final of the year for The Asp, a third in a row for Mighty Mike - and he's won the first two!

The rest of the field will be hoping for an Aspinall win because if MVG wins, he'll be eight points clear at the top after just four weeks.

It started off quite cagey and a bit slow actually but then they sped up and they got better and better.

Michael van Gerwen doesn't play the percentages at all.

Michael van Gerwen enjoyed that win and wasn't shy of showing it.

He clinches it with a double-double finish on the 18s. What a match!

Even in that final leg, it went back and forth with one player then the other edging ahead.

Left with a 110 checkout, Littler couldn't give himself a dart at double and MVG came back to win it with a swagger.

I don't think this is going to be as straightforward as just serving it out.

They are playing at a level where a two-minute spell can change the game.

Van Gerwen always looks under pressure to prove a point against Littler. And that's without any engagement in the mind games from Littler. His darts do all the talking
