West Ham may play in London Stadium these days, but their name's not on it at the moment. The letters were taken off last month as the venue was prepared for a summer of athletics.

You'll get it back in September, Hammers fans.

There's a dab cam on the big screen. You're supposed to 'dab' if it picks you out the crowd.

Don't know what dabbing is? Ask your grandkids.

Tonight Hannah Cockroft will be going for her fourth straight title in a row - and she is still only 24.

She races the clock and it could be a little processional if it goes as we expect.

Hannah races at 20:55 in the 100m T34 final.

  7. 'It's only been 10 minutes'published at 19:58 British Summer Time 14 July 2017

    Chris Osborne
    BBC Sport at London Stadium

The in-stadium announcer asks Cameron Crombie whether being the first gold medallist of the Championships will put him in good stead for the javelin next Saturday.

    The response is brilliantly Australian.

"It's only been 10 minutes mate."

Cuba's Leinier Savon Pineda has just won his heat in the 100m T12 - and his time of 10.88 is some way quicker than Luke Shaw's 11.40.

And in the third heat, Brazil's Fabricio Junior Barros Ferreira has just won his heat in 11.16

  9. Postpublished at 19:53 British Summer Time 14 July 2017

Cameron Crombie is in fact the first medalist of the Championships. Fair play.

Australian Cameron Crombie's world record throw of 15.95m is good enough to take the title in the F38 shot put. The crowd are loving his lap of honour - until he gets told to stop by a bloke in a white shirt. Boo.

  11. Shaw to get betterpublished at 19:48 British Summer Time 14 July 2017

"Honestly it was not a great run but to qualify as a winner - you cannot beat that and the roar from the crowd was amazing. It was one of the proudest moments of my life right there," said Zac Shaw.

"I have definitely got more - I'm sure my coach will be angry with a few things."

Shaw, of course, won his T12 100m heat a short while ago - one of his first races at T12 after a recent reclassification.

  14. Top class(ification)published at 19:40 British Summer Time 14 July 2017

I'm not going to lie, I've lifted this lock, stock from the excellent guide to the Championships written by Chris Osborne.

Chris, BTW, will be at London Stadium and capturing the flavour of the event for us.

Each athletics event is given a code, made up of one letter and two numbers, which is called a classification. It tells you more about the type of disability the athletes in that event have.

The first letter will either be T or F: T is for track (running and jumping events) and F is for field (throwing events).

The first number, from 1 to 5, tells you the impairment type: 1. Visual impairment 2. Intellectual impairment 3. Co-ordination impairment 4. Limb deficiencies and short stature 5. Impaired muscle power or range of movement.

The second number ranges from 1 to 8 and designates the level of impairment, with 1 being the most impaired.

    11-time Paralympic champion

A huge amount of relief - on the first day, you're the first on the bus, the first at the track, it is really quite lonely.

But that was a really solid run from Zac Shaw. You cannot make any mistakes in this race or you are done and I think he can go faster than 11.40 secs.

  16. Shaw shiftspublished at 19:39 British Summer Time 14 July 2017

    Chris Osborne

Boom. There's a roar. Britain's first athlete on the track is Zachary Shaw in the T12 100m heats. Crowds love a sprint.

This crowd isn't huge but my word they're noisy. The sound levels lift as the 20-year-old times his dip perfectly to win the heat and go into tomorrow's semi.

If that's anything to go by, the noise for Hannah Cockroft later will be fun.

  17. Out on her ownpublished at 19:37 British Summer Time 14 July 2017

It will be tough for Gemma Prescott to win gold tonight in the women's F32 club given the form of Tunisia's Maroua Ibrahmi.

After her first three throws, she has a best of 24.07m. Some way ahead of Prescott, who is second with 19.66m.

Abbie Hunnisett is yet to throw.

    Each athlete has three throws.

  18. Butterfield's six-year journeypublished at 19:35 British Summer Time 14 July 2017

    Chris Osborne
    BBC Sport at London Stadium

One year before London 2012, Jo Butterfield was diagnosed with a spinal tumour that paralyzed her below the waist.

The sight of a home Paralympics would inspire her to take up Para-sport and after dabbling in wheelchair rugby, she moved into competitive thowing and now she returns to the site of London 2012 as the F51 club throw Paralympic champion.

The 38-year-old Yorkshire athlete's name is roared on by the crowd as they line up for the tonight's final - her main rival will be world record holder Rachael Morrison of the US.

As Chris informed us, Leo-Pekka Tahti had no trouble securing his place in the final of the T54 100m final. That race is at 21:20 BST. Another of the evening's biggies.

The Flying Finn is the current Paralympic champion.
