Imagine you're a Para-athlete... this is the view you'll have when you step out to compete tonight. There will be a few thousand people in those empty seats though, of course.
And if you work in the media....

Well. It took 13 minutes to get our first world record. Australia's Cameron Crombie throws 15.95m in the men's shot put F38 to go top of the all-time list.

Britain's Gemma Prescott, a bronze medallist at London 2012, is first up in he F32 club throw final and, as the first Brit in action, she gets a rousing cheer from the sparse but loud crowd here.
Each athlete gets six throws, taken in two sets of threes, and she sets the early target at 19.66m on throw three. Compatriot Abbie Hunnisett is up third.
And here they are - the team at London Stadium covering the event...
.....left to right, Tanni Grey-Thompson, Allison Curbishley and Ed Harry.
The first track event of the night will give us a glimpse of a sprint superstar in the heats of the T54 100m.
Finland's Leo-Pekka Tahti has won gold at each of the last four Paralympic Games, so expect to see the world record holder in the final at 21:20 BST.
Among the other international highlights will be the T12 100m. Cuba has a strong reputation in visually impaired sprinting and double world and Paralympic champion Leinier Savon Pineda will continue that tradition in the heats at 19:35 BST.
And Irish eyes will be on defending champion Michael McKillop in the T38 800m heats at 20:25 BST.
Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson
11-time Paralympic champion
It is so important having that crowd support - it is so difficult competing when there is no support. At the Berlin world champiionships I think my family had bought most of the tickets but we have moved on from then.

This is Paralympic sport coming home. There are people in every tier.

It can't be an opening ceremony without some pyrotechnics.
There's also a band playing a rather jaunty tune on drums.
It's a pleasant way to kick things off.
BBC Radio 5 live
Some great news - there will be coverage every evening live from London Stadium on 5 live and sports extra throughout the Championships.
Jonathan Overend is presenting, Ed Harry commentating, with Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson and Allison Curbishley commentating.
You can listen to the whole of tonight's session on the website.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan addresses the crowd, which is slowly growing in size.
"London has faced a difficult time in recent weeks," he says. "A perfect antidote to this hatred and sorrow is events like this one. London will always be a beacon for eqaulity and respect."
That draws cheers and a round of applause, as does a heartfelt thank you to the city's fire services and NHS workers, following the tragedy at Grenfell Tower.
Not long until the action starts at 19:00 BST.

A poignant moment in the stadium just now as a moment's silence is held to remember UAE thrower Abdullah Hayayei, who died in a training incident two days ago.
Hayayei, 36, a father of five, was preparing to compete in the F34 class at the Championships.
IPC president Sir Philip Craven led the tributes and a specially made medal was given to the UAE team in Hayayei's honour.
Sadly the build-up to the Championships was marred by the tragic death of Abdullah Hayayei, who was killed when a metal throwing cage fell on him.
The United Arab Emirates thrower was training at Newham Leisure Centre earlier this week when the incident happened.
IPC president Sir Philip Craven started his eve-of-Championships news conference today by saying that he was in "a state of shock" and that the whole IPC was "deeply saddened" by the news.
