  1. ...plus Butterfield in actionpublished at 18:36 British Summer Time 14 July 2017

In addition to Hannah Cockroft, Jo Butterfield is another strong gold medal prospect.

The 38-year-old won gold in the club throw F51 category in Rio and is heavily fancied again tonight - although American Rachael Morrison might have something to say about that.

That takes place from 19:20 BST and Kylie Grimes also competes.

  2. Keep an eye out for Cockroft....published at 18:33 British Summer Time 14 July 2017

London Stadium was, of course, the venue for many of the unforgettable scenes of the 2012 Paralympic Games.

Great Britain won 34 golds - and one of those went to Hannah Cockroft in the women's 100m T34. She will be competiting along with Kare Adenegan and Carly Tait in the final of that event at 20:55 BST.

Cockroft won three gold medals at Rio 2016 and can repeat the feat in London in the 100m, 400m and 800m. She already has 12 Paralympic and World titles to her name.

Over the next 10 days, 90+ nations will compete at the 2017 World Para-athletics Championships at London Stadium.

Previously known as the IPC World Athletics Championships, this is the eighth time it has been held and is going - I confidently predict - to be bigger and better than ever.

After all, around 270,000 tickets have been sold - more than the seven previous tournaments combined.

There will be 1,074 athletes competing, with 213 medal events.

Great Britain have a 49-strong team - and we're expecting gold tonight.
