    Champ table

More big goals at the bottom of the Championship table.

In one of two 20:00 GMT kick-offs, bottom-of-the-league Barnsley have taken the lead at Reading with Stephen 'awesome' Dawson profiting from a poor backpass to put the Tykes ahead, while Millwall and Birmingham are locked at 1-1.

With Yeovil winning at leaders Leicester, it's Charlton who drop into the relegation zone as it stands.

  2. League Two updatepublished at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 25 March 2014

League Two leaders Rochdale have gone 1-0 up against Portsmouth, Pompey could end up in the relegation zone this evening if results elsewhere go against them.

Northampton who started the evening in 23rd place are drawing 1-1 against Wimbledon who are down to ten men after Jack Midson was sent off for handling on the line - perhaps he thought it was going wide.

Torquay are trailing again, this time against play-off chasing York City who could get into the top seven if results go their way this evening.

  3. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 25 March 2014

Wilfried Bony has a yellow card to go with his goal. The former Vitesse Arnhem man hacks down Mikel Arteta and can have no complaints.

  4. Postpublished at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 25 March 2014

Papiss Cisse broke an open-play goal drought that had been running for almost a year at the weekend, and he almost had another there. The Everton defence just about crowded him out as he tried to poke Vurnon Anita's pass home.

Ross Barkley celebrates scoring for EvertonImage source, Empics

Goal of the evening so far? Ross Barkley's effort for Everton showed just why he is so highly rated - incredible running and control with the ball before shooting home.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:17 Greenwich Mean Time 25 March 2014

Marouane Fellaini looks aggrieved, but he should be thanking Michael Oliver for his leniency. The referee had a great view of the Manchester United man flatten Pablo Zabaleta with a forearm to the face as the Argentine came in to try and nick the ball. It could have been red. Easily.

Huge goal in the Championship - and a huge upset! Yeovil take the lead at leaders Leicester, scoring with their first attack as Joe Ralls curls in a free-kick.

Leicester's lead over Burnley at the top would be cut to four points if the scores stay the same - and those two meet at the weekend.

    Chris Waddle

"It's a fantastic game. End to end. United are coming into it slightly on the counter attack. United will get chances because City commit a lot of bodies forward."

  15. MISS!published at 20:11 Greenwich Mean Time 25 March 2014

Manchester United are giving it a real go, piling numbers forward when they do get hold of the ball.

Their best chance of the game so far arrives as the ball bounces hip high for Marouane Fellaini in the City box. No pressure on him, but he cuffs a weak volley straight to Joe Hart's gloves.

Andrew: Wilfried Bony, take a bow. Where are all the 'fans' who were critiscing him and saying he wasn't Premier League quality earlier in the year. That's his 20th of the season, take that haters!

JB: No width, no Kagawa, Mata out wide. No wide players, Cleverley in midfield. MOYES WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

Great counter attack by Swansea from an Arsenal corner but with four attackers against two defenders, Michu can only cross to Jonjo Shelvey, who has his shot blocked. A wasted chance.

  18. Postpublished at 20:07 Greenwich Mean Time 25 March 2014

BBC Sport chief football writer Phil McNulty at Old Trafford:

"Manchester City's opening phase has been devastating but if there is hope for Manchester United it is in the fact that this game is not out of their reach already. Still only the one goal to show for some wonderful attacking football."

  19. GOALpublished at 20:07 Greenwich Mean Time 25 March 2014

Any challenge? Nope, so Ross Barkley just keeps going and his wonderful solo dribble takes him from way inside his own half, into the Newcastle box, round Fabricio Collocini and ends with a gleeful blast past Tim Krul and into the top corner.

  20. CLOSE!published at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 25 March 2014

Still not much sign of Arsenal rousing themselves with Arsene Wenger sinking deep into his seat in the home dug-out. Per Mertesacker gives the home crowd a little gee-up though as he heads into the wrong side of the side-netting from a corner.
