"Zabaleta has been a big danger all night and for City, that is definitely three points."
Manchester City are closing in on the title now, and their second goal is almost a carbon-copy of the first as David Silva plays another cute but simple ball into Pablo Zabaleta, who pulls it back for Samir Nasri. The Frenchman's shot is saved but the rebound is tucked away gleefully by that man Edin Dzeko.
A fine flowing move from Sunderland ends with full-back Santiago Vergini firing a low, angled shot just wide. Sunderland remain the better side.
Opta Joe:, external 6 - Pablo Zabaleta has now assisted six PL goals this season, the only defender to have as many is team-mate Kolarov. Duo.
Andrew:, external Man City have one hand on the Premier League title! Will they fall apart now?
Rohan:, external That sure broke Villa's bus and Liverpool fans' hearts
Ajaya Neupane:, external How many times has Dzeko rescued City?
The table is looking pretty good if you're a Manchester City fan...

"A huge roar of relief went around the Etihad. Zabaleta has been the biggest threat all night and Dzeko tucked it away well. City now can really smell the title."

There it is! David Silva plays a simple pass behind the full-backs to Pablo Zabaleta and the Argentine squares the ball to Edin Dzeko who is on hand to convert from six yards out. A very sodden Etihad Stadium erupts into a cacophony of celebration.
BBC Sport's David Ornstein at Etihad Stadium
"The second half is going much as the first did, with something resembling an attack-v-defence drill, sports car versus triple-decker lorry. But still City cannot breakthrough and nails are starting to be bitten and howls of frustration - both at the hosts' profligacy and Villa's perceived time-wasting - growing louder. Manuel Pellegrini bolsters his frontline by replacing James Milner with Stevan Jovetic, a move that signals his intent and is approved by the locals as torrential rain returns to make things just that little bit harder."

"Stevan Jovetic has an eye for a pass, he has that creativity and, with Villa sitting deep, City need a bit of a craft and one defining moment to change this game. You have to say Villa certainly don't look like scoring."

How did he miss that? Jack Colback puts the ball onto a plate for Jozy Altidore but the substitute blazes wide with an open net in front of him.
Liam Bridcutt replaces Adam Johnson and Jozy Altidore enters the fray in place of Connor Wickham. Sunderland have been second best in the early stages of the second period so fresh legs may prove useful. Johnson does not look particularly pleased to be withdrawn.
Aston Villa make a change, with their lone striker Jordan Bowery being replaced by the less attack-minded Leandro Bacuna. Manchester City send on striker Stevan Jovetic for James Milner.
There's around 30 minutes left at the Etihad. It's only going to get more tense, City fans.
We asked Manchester City fans to describe how they are feeling in three words...
Christian Reilly:, external Having terrible flashbacks
Louis Spenceley:, external Too much stress
Sean:, external Feeling absolutely AAAAAUUUUUGGGGHHHHHH
Dan Miley:, external Not a City fan, but I can guess: "Oh Not Again."
Fabian Delph is handed the first booking of the game for a strong challenge on David Silva which sees the Villa midfielder win the ball but also take most of the Manchester City player with him. From the free-kick, Aleksandar Kolarov's effort is beaten clear at his near post by Brad Guzan.
Here's West Brom on the attack and Craig Dawson drives in a decent cross from the right which Victor Anichebe is inches away from converting into an empty net.
West Brom are showing more urgency and having more of the ball in the second half but Sunderland, who have conceded more goals in the first 15 minutes of the second half than at any other point in games, are keeping them at bay for now.
The City onslaught on the Villa goal continues and this time it's Vincent Kompany, still in the penalty area following a set-piece, who tries an overhead kick but his effort is straight at Brad Guzan. With the space he was afforded, the City captain could have done better there.
