This is Algeria's second successive World Cup but the Desert Foxes have already achieved something in Brazil that they could not manage in 2010 - score a goal.

Four years ago they were unable to find the net in 270 minutes of action in South Africa.

But Sofiane Feghouli's penalty in the 2-1 defeat by Belgium on 17 June at least ensures their travelling fans will be able to return to North Africa having witnessed their team score.

It was Algeria's first World Cup goal since Djamel Zidane scored against Northern Ireland in 1986.

  4. TEAM NEWSpublished at 19:18 British Summer Time 22 June 2014

South Korea are unchanged from their first game in Group H which saw them earn a point with a 1-1 draw against Russia. Striker Lee Keun-ho scored the team's goal in that game but is again on the bench.

Algeria make five changes from their opening game defeat by Belgium, including Abdelmoumene Djabou and Islam Slimani coming in for fellow forwards Riyad Mahrez and El Arabi Soudani.

How was your weekend? Chilling out on the sofa before another long week at work? Spare a thought for the good folk of South Korea. Their working week is about to start.

It has just gone 03:00 in Seoul but no-one sleeps when there is a World Cup to be won.

Despite the early hour, thousands have gathered on the streets of the capital to watch the match on a giant screen. That's right, it is already 'must-win Monday' in South Korea.

Former Republic of Ireland international Mark Lawrenson

"This is the game that both these sides will see as winnable, but that might mean what could have been an open game will turn into a much tighter one.

"I think Algeria might edge it, but both teams will be heading home at the end of the group stage."

    Group H

Belgium's late win over Russia means it is all the play for in Group H.

Algeria, without a World Cup finals win since 1982, will go out if they lose in Porto Alegre.

South Korea, semi-finalists in 2002, are looking to make the last 16 for only the third time in nine attempts.

  10. Early team newspublished at 20:02 British Summer Time 21 June 2014

South Korea boss Hong Myong-bo is under-pressure to drop misfiring striker Park Chu-young, Lee Keun-ho or Kim Shin-wook in line to replace him.

Influential trio Koo Ja-cheol, Ki Sung-yueng and Son Heung-min are all one booking away from suspension.

Algeria may select the same side narrowly beaten by Belgium in their opener.

British-based duo Nabil Bentaleb and Riyad Mahrez are again expected to be part of the Desert Foxes' team.
