    All morning we have been asking you to sum up how severe a blow losing Neymar is for Brazil.

    Sophie L:, external Neymar and Thiago Silva have been carrying Brazil, losing both of them will either the be a shot in the arm or a nail in the coffin.

    Belgium attacker Eden Hazard may be getting a text from his brother Thorgan today as he has joined German side Borussia Monchengladbach on a season-long loan from Chelsea.

    The 21-year-old signed for the Blues from Lens in 2012, but has spent two season on loan with Zulte Waregem in Belgium.

    Martins Indi felled Netherlands team-mate Arjen Robben with a heavy training ground tackle, external ahead of the tournament and later said he felt the forward went down "needlessly".

    The trick is a concern of Costa Rica manager Jorge Luis Pinto, who has called for Robben to be punished if he dives in today's quarter-final.

    He said: "We're really worried about his diving. He has admitted doing it."

    "Sometimes you can't stand in the way of a player who needs a bigger stage to develop into a world-class player," said former Feyenoord manager Ronald Koeman of Bruno Martins Indi.

    The 22-year-old left-side centre-back shone as the Netherlands routed Spain, was knocked unconscious when the Dutch beat Australia and used from the bench in the last-16 win over Mexico.

    It is fair to say his World Cup has offered varied experiences, but big things are expected of him and he should start against Costa Rica as part of a reshuffle following Nigel de Jong's injury.

    The World Cup semi-final line-up will be complete about 11 hours from now after the Netherlands have played their quarter-final with Costa Rica.

    Before that, it is Argentina v Belgium in Brasilia at 17:00 BST and BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson is predicting Lionel Messi and his band of helpers will face elimination.

    "The pressure on Lionel Messi to perform has been massive," says Lawrenson. "So far he has delivered and Argentina will undoubtedly have the best player on the pitch on Friday.

    "But I think Belgium have got the best team and they will have too much for Argentina in all areas."

    Ahead of today's first quarter-final, here is some team news for you from Brasilia.

    Argentina left-back Marcos Rojo serves a one-game ban, with Jose Basanta expected to deputise for him.

    Sergio Aguero has returned to light training following a thigh problem but is unlikely to start, while Rodrigo Palacio could replace Ezequiel Lavezzi.

    Belgium welcome back midfielder Steven Defour, who has completed a one-game suspension following his red card against South Korea. Thomas Vermaelen should be available after a hamstring problem.
