Richard Parfitt:, external Penalty should be retaken, Cech nowhere near his line, what's the point of the ref behind the goal? I say this as a Chelsea fan.

Agubata Odinaka:, external The fact that Chelsea can also play in a completely different way than this is proof that they are a team built for all weather.

Tor Noppharat:, external Love how willing Willian is, coming to cover as right-back when Ivanovic got stuck high up the pitch. Lovely!

Bayern's defence has finally been breached.

A slick counter sees Radja Nainggolan cross for Gervinho who nods a consolation and the first goal Bayern have conceded since 30 August.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:11 British Summer Time 21 October 2014

Remember Zlatko Zahovic? He was brilliant at Euro 2000 for Slovenia. Long hair, silky skills - bit of a Dimitar Berbatov sort of player.

Well his son Luka Zahovic has just come on. If players from the early 2000s are going to start having sons in the first team, I'm going to start feeling very old indeed.

On Maribor's missed penalty that hit the post:

"Well everything is going for Chelsea. Cech dived full length and maybe he knew something we didn't and that was why he was smiling beforehand.

"But another six inches inside the post and Cech wouldn't have got it. Disappointing for Maribor."

  6. CLOSE!published at 21:09 British Summer Time 21 October 2014

What a hit that is! Oscar shoots from 20 yards, the keeper doesn't move and it pings a yard wide of the far corner...

  7. European latestpublished at 21:08 British Summer Time 21 October 2014

Guillermo Fernandez levels for Athletic Bilbao in Porto, it's 1-1 there and the Spanish club need at least a draw to keep any realistic chances of qualifying for the knockout stages alive.

They currently only have one point. If it stays like this, Porto and Shakhtar will be on five.

  8. Latest scorespublished at 21:07 British Summer Time 21 October 2014

As it stands, Burton are going top of League Two as they lead 4-2 at Carlisle. Leaders Wycombe are currently drawing 1-1 at Exeter. Shrewsbury have also hit four, at home against Bury, with Jean-Louis Akpa-Akpro bagging a hat-trick.

Oxford have come back from a goal down to lead 3-1 at Northampton with Danny Hylton scoring two of their goals. Elsewhere, Miles Storey's goal has made it Portsmouth 2-1 Stevenage and a Josh Coulson own goal has given Cheltenham a 2-1 lead at Cambridge.

It's not your night lads. Agim Ibraimi steps up, hits the penalty hard and low - but against the post...

  10. PENALTY to MARIBORpublished at 21:05 British Summer Time 21 October 2014

Clumsy as you like. Bull in a china shop as Nemanja Matic runs right into Agim Ibraimi. Pen.

  11. Postpublished at 21:03 British Summer Time 21 October 2014

Oscar has a shot well blocked as Chelsea look for a fifth. Nathan Ake has already put in two great tackles in midfield, he has the look a young Ruud Gullit and if he's a tenth of the player he's one to watch.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:01 British Summer Time 21 October 2014

Right on cue, there is a Chelsea change. Cesc Fabregas gets a rest and Nathan Ake comes on. Chance for the youngster to impress.

  14. Postpublished at 21:00 British Summer Time 21 October 2014

    Danny Mills
BBC Radio 5 live at Stamford Bridge

"I'm surprised that no Chelsea substitutes are warming up. I know he had to make one with Drogba coming on for Remy.

"With Hazard still looking sharp, you would think he might be thinking about giving one or two a rest before the weekend."

  15. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:59 British Summer Time 21 October 2014

Roma start the second-half against Bayern in the fashion of a team who have had a talking to in the changing room.

Gervinho races clear and hits the post and Alessandro Florenzi is denied by a brilliant Manuel Neuer save.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:59 British Summer Time 21 October 2014

There wasn't much that Mitja Viler could do about that own goal, but coach Ante Simundza has instantly hauled him off. Unless he's injured that's a bit harsh...

  17. Postpublished at 20:58 British Summer Time 21 October 2014

    Danny Mills
BBC Radio 5 live at Stamford Bridge

"Hazard gets lucky and he knows it. He wheels away and looks to the sky.

"He has fired the cross in, looking for Didier Drogba two yards out, and it hits the defender's heel and it goes in the back of the net.

"It just goes to show how easy it is for Chelsea as Hazard has got in twice in the last few minutes."

Chelsea have a fourth and it's a great move. Willian feeds in left-back Filipe Luis on the overlap, he has so much composure to skip over a tackle and take all the time he has before rolling over a cross. Eden Hazard retrieves it, puts it back across goal and it goes in off the heels of Mitja Viler.

  19. Postpublished at 20:55 British Summer Time 21 October 2014

Almost brilliant! Eden Hazard plays it to Didier Drogba, whose return reverse ball is perfectly weighted for the Belgian. It's crying out for a first time laces, but Hazard tries one more turn and is tackled. Put your foot through it!
