Bradford boss Phil Parkinson doesn't look best pleased here, rolling his eyes after an over-hit pass. I think he'll be fairly satisfied with the way his side have responded to the early goal, but there's not a huge amount of cutting edge against Conference Halifax.

Wayne Jacobs, former Bradford and Halifax defender:

"Since the goal Bradford have clawed their way back in, kept possession and shown some good football. They have got some good crosses in, but Phil Parkinson will be disappointed that his Bradford side have not got on the end of one."

At last, a shot in anger on the FC Halifax goal. Filipe Morais this time comes inside, but the 28-year-old's powerful strike towards the near post drifts a yard or so wide. Better from the Bantams.

  4. Postpublished at 12:29 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

Ouch! Strong challenge from Simon Ainge on Andy Halliday, who takes a moment before returning to his feet. Good, old-fashioned challenge from the Halifax man - albeit not a legal one.

  5. Postpublished at 12:27 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

Filipe Morais is really hugging the right touchline and does well to get another cross in towards former Blackburn forward Jon Stead, but the ball misses him and when it finds Mark Yeates it gets blocked away.

  6. Postpublished at 12:24 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

Billy Knott is seeing plenty of the action, just playing in behind the forwards and finding space in which to operate. But still, Matt Glennon in the home goal hasn't really had a save to make.

  7. Postpublished at 12:21 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

League One Bradford are really starting to boss the ball here, having over 70% of the possession at the latest check. Halifax are happy to keep them at arms' length - but I'm not sure this is going to work for another 70 minutes.

After the initial rush, Halifax are just electing to sit in and manage the game rather than chasing and harrying Bradford at every opportunity. The visitors have worked the ball into a good position here though, but the goalkeeper gets a touch on Filipe Morais's cross from the byline to turn it away from any immediate danger.

"The early signs are that Halifax are picking up the second balls better, and are reading the game better than Bradford at the moment."

  11. Postpublished at 12:16 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

The Bantams are starting to work their way into the game, keeping the ball comfortably really for the first time in the tie. Andy Halliday has had quite enough of all that tippy-tappy stuff though, smashing the ball towards goal from distance. But it's wide, very wide.

  12. Postpublished at 12:13 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

The Shaymen are really up for this, pressing their League One opponents at every opportunity. They've conceded a corner here though, and Mark Yeates will whip it in to the far post. That's the goalkeeper's ball all day long.

The home side are doing most of the early running here. It's a really confident start from Neil Aspin's men. He did say in the build-up that his team had a chance of causing an upset. So far, so good.

"Unbelievable start, Bradford were knocked out with those corners and crosses. What a start for Halifax! If you were writing a script for a giant-killing, this would be it."

And this one isn't defended well either - the Conference high-flyers have an early lead! This time it goes to the near post, and Lois Maynard is on hand to stab home past a helpless Ben Williams. Dream start for the non-leaguers.

And an early sighter for the hosts. Halifax win a corner on the right, and it's not defended particularly well, finding its way to Simon Ainge at the far stick. His shot is blocked behind though, and we'll have another set-piece.

  18. KICK-OFFpublished at 12:04 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

And away we go. Halifax, in their all-blue home strip, will get us started, shooting from right to left in this first half. Bradford are in their familiar claret and amber.

  19. Postpublished at 12:00 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2014

So here we go, it's time to get down to business. The two teams wander out to a great reception at The Shay, passing the FA Cup trophy as they emerge from the tunnel.

There will, of course, be a minute's silence before we get under way on this Remembrance Sunday.

    Kick-off is just moments away.
