Neil Warnock reacts to falling behind by calling for Marouane Chamakh from the bench. Off comes Fraizer Campbell, having failed to score against one of his former clubs.

Chamakh's mohawk is being undermined by his fast-receding hairline by the way. I fear for its future.

Ste Stainton:, external Jordan Henderson is such a big player for Liverpool now, gets unnecessary stick and is missed when he doesn't start, as last season showed!

Turns out we might have written off Championship strugglers Bolton too soon! Bournemouth's advantage lasts just six minutes as Jay Spearing - remember him Liverpool fans? - hammers in an equaliser. Charlton's hopes of moving into the top two take a blow as Birmingham equalise at the Valley, while Blackburn's Jordan Rhodes misses from the penalty spot against old club Huddersfield.

"Mario Balotelli's form has not been good enough to maintain a place in the team. Lambert has put in a decent shift. It is a good time for Balotelli to come on and hopefully it will give Liverpool some impetus going forward. But the game is also still there for West Brom if they can find some rhythm again."

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:22 British Summer Time 4 October 2014

Former Burnley striker David Nugent is on for Leicester. Can he add to the woes of the Premier League's bottom club? The Foxes still in control at the King Power Stadium.

Joey Knoff:, external What a terrible decision from the referee Oliver there (16:13). Surely that was outside the area.

Don Limani:, external You can debate whether outside or inside all day, a £20m defender should know better than to just dive in!

Gareth Whalley:, external Raheem Sterling proving why you should always play to the whistle. Probably a penalty but instead of complaining got the assist.

"Jordan Henderson does really well because he gets there quite late. A great response from Liverpool. It is just what they needed."

"It was a superb cross-field ball from Steven Gerrard that started the move. It is also a great finish, low down to Ben Fosters's right-hand corner. It is a superb response for Liverpool. This was a big test of their character and they are coming through it at the moment."

The first effort on goal delivers the first goal at the KC Stadium. Andrew Robertson's cross, with the help of a deflection, finds its way to Mohamed Diame who buries his header past Julian Speroni from eight yards out.

Liverpool are back in front - Raheem Sterling picking out Jordan Henderson in the penalty area and the dynamic midfielder drives a shot into the back of the net. Rickie Lambert, standing in an offside position, does well to avoid touching the side-footed effort and Henderson wheels off to celebrate rather enthusiastically.

    Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown
    Final Score

"I think the referee Michael Oliver has got that one wrong. It looks as though Dejan Lovren's challenge on Saido Berahino is outside the box. Lovren got it all wrong and went lunging in, Berahino was too quick but it is just outside. Berahino cannot stop scoring.

"West Brom are continuing to take the game to Liverpool, who are looking rocky. Now it is 1-1 it could go either way."

It's settled into a pattern at the Stadium of Light. Stoke attack and Sunderland look to hit them on the break. More goals likely.

Yesterday Bolton dumped their manager Dougie Freedman and then slumped to the bottom of the Championship when Blackpool beat Cardiff. So there is no better opportunity to get back on track at home against a Bournemouth side reduced to 10 men in the first half, right? Wrong. Callum Wilson stick the Cherries ahead moments after the restart.

Watford are set to be top of the Championship in about 40 minutes' time. The Hornets, who are unbeaten at Vicarage Road in the league, lead 1-0 against Brighton through Daniel Tozser.

Middlesbrough take an early second-half lead against Fulham through Adam Reach, while former Brentford loanee Simon Cox pulls a goal back to Reading 2-1 down at Griffin Park.

David Ljunggren:, external Alan Pardew deserves to be fired for not strengthening the central defence. Mike Williamson and Fabricio Coloccini are clearly not good enough.

"I thought it was inside initially. It looked a penalty. I have to say Berahino has been impressive today and he nipped in just ahead of Lovren. It is a big goal for West Brom in the context of the game. How is that going to affect the psychology of the game and the atmosphere in the stadium?"

Sammy Ameobi has been ushered into the fray to replace Yoan Gouffran for Newcastle. Can he be Alan Pardew's Mark Robins?

Thirty-nine year-old Steve Harper has not had his ageing limbs tested yet in the Hull goal.

Yannick Bolassie's header flies over the top from Jason Puncheon's free-kick.
