Absolutely awesome stuff from Connor Wickham as he drives forward with the ball for 40 yards - Stoke defenders just bouncing off him - and he eventually squares for Steven Fletcher to smash home from 12 yards, via Jack Rodwell's inadvertent dummy.

Papiss Cisse started his Newcastle career as a scorer of great goals. He is looking more like a great goalscorer today. He stretches out one of those whippet-thin limbs to turn in Sammy Ameobi's cross from close range and, although they have been living off scrapes for most of the game, Newcastle are level.
