Hull start the second half much brighter than they did the first as Mohamed Diame gets inside the area and takes a tumble under Victor Wanyama's challenge. Not a penalty though and referee Martin Atkinson, rightly, points for a goalkick.

QPR have started the second half much better, and left-back Yun Suk-Young goes on a mazy run but hesitates and the chance has gone. Complacency could be Chelsea's biggest enemy this afternoon...

    Final Score

"Incredible. Esteban Cambiasso cannot do a thing about that one. Wes Morgan doesn't need to make the diving header - there is time to stop and volley it clear - but the header hits Cambiasso who is two yards away and ends up in the back of the net. Very unfortunate for Leicester."

Big Sam has, unsurprisingly, shaken things up at half-time after a poor opening 45 minutes. Carlton Cole is on for Morgan Amalfitano, and that means West Ham switching to a two-man attack to give Enner Valencia some much-needed support.

It was going to take something out of the ordinary to separate these two sides - and a freak own goal is just the job for West Brom!

Arsenal attack from the off as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is away down the wing and his pull-back to the edge of the Burnley area finds Mikel Arteta all alone, but his shot is straight at Tom Heaton.

Leaders Luton are on course for an eighth straight win - they lead 1-0 at Exeter.

Wycombe's struggles continue as they trail 1-0 at Oxford. Meanwhile, Burton seem to be coping fine without the departed Gary Rowett - they lead Plymouth 1-0 at the break.

Second-placed Preston have come unstuck in the first half at Rochdale, who lead 2-0 through quickfire goals from Ian Henderson and Jack O'Connell. Third-placed Swindon are winning 1-0 at MK Dons.

Luke Willams has given lowly Scunthorpe a surprise half-time lead against play-off chasing Peterborough, while fellow strugglers Crewe are 1-0 up at Crawley.

Derby County are on course to stay top after Chris Martin gave them the lead at Brentford, while second-placed Watford have turned things around against Millwall to lead 2-1 at the break.

Bryan Ruiz has put Fulham in front at Wigan - the Cottagers were 1-0 down in that one.

Reading's Glenn Murray struck just before half-time at Ewood Park to draw the Royals level with Blackburn, while Sheffield Wednesday are leading at Charlton.

Jill, Leamington: Chelsea will have such a hard choice for their Player of the Year. Who do you choose from Thibaut Courtois, Diego Costa, Oscar, Cesc Fabregas, Nemanja Matic, Eden Hazard...and there's still time for the other players to make their mark!

Gus and George, London: Alexis Sanchez is on such a different level he should be wearing the yellow Tour de France jersey to differentiate him from the other Arsenal players.

Paul, Warrington: Liverpool have the look and feel of a team going nowhere. I can see them finishing outside the top four and trophyless.

Hashim:, external What. A. Finish. That is extremely difficult to do, and Oscar made it look ridiculously easy! (see 15:31)

Luke Whitfield:, external Nemaja Matic and Cesc Fabregas have been wonderful together, cover all areas, best partnership in the league.

Paul Moore:, external Arsenal are such an inconsistent team. Sometimes they look like world beaters and others just average. Bore draw coming up.

    BBC Sport at the Britannia

"If you were wondering whether West Ham would keep up their fine recent form without the prolific Diafra Sakho up front, the answer so far is a resounding 'no'. In Sakho's absence, the other half of the Hammers new-look strike-force, Enner Valencia, has been anonymous and it is Stoke who have been far busier and brighter in attack. The Potters should be further ahead too."

"Victor Moses' first goal for Stoke was just reward for their dominance in the first half. West Ham are badly missing the injured Diafra Sakho, and have threatened rarely."

    Guy Mowbray
BBC Match of the Day commentator

"Not a classic but very watchable with plenty going on. One big talking point at the interval and that is whether Swansea midfielder Jonjo Shelvey's shot was saved by defender Antolin Alcaraz or whether it came off his knee. Who would be a referee?"

    Alistair Mann
BBC Match of the Day commentator

"You had to feel sorry for the third-choice goalkeeper whose mis-hit clearance was hit back with interest.

"There have not been too many chances since. Southampton, with the best defensive record in all four divisions, are protecting a clean sheet."

  20. No place for moulds...published at 15:50 Greenwich Mean Time 1 November 2014

Match of the Day commentator John Roder notes that a lot of players are losing their footing on the Britannia Stadium pitch. There are members of both sides who may need to reassess their choices of studs at half-time.
