BBC Sport's Tony Leighton: "As expected, England captain Steph Houghton and goalkeeper Karen Bardsley are back in the Manchester City starting line-up for tonight's final after being rested for Sunday's Super League match against Chelsea."

  2. Champions League updatepublished at 19:10 British Summer Time 16 October 2014

As well as the Continental Cup final, the women's Champions League is in full swing tonight.

League champions Liverpool are chasing the double and are in Sweden for their second leg with Linkopings. The Reds were 2-1 up from the first leg but it's all going wrong now as they trail 2-0 in a game which kicked off at 18:00 BST.

The Linkoping Arena was home to England during Euro 2013. Not a particularly welcoming home it has to be said, as England picked up one point from three group games and crashed out. More pain on the cards tonight...

Steph Houghton knows what it's like to lift the Continental Cup trophy. Look, there she is doing exactly that 12 months ago for Arsenal!

The Gunners have won all three previous FAWSLCC finals in fact and are hoping to make it four in a row.

But Houghton is now wearing the sky blue of Manchester City. Can she lift it again and leave her old side in the doldrums?

As misleading a title as baseball's world series, the FA WSL Continental Cup - to give it the full title - does not in fact contain a single team from across the English Channel.

Instead 18 teams from Durham to Doncaster, from Birmingham to Bristol and all four corners of the capital have fought their way through a group stage and last month's semi-finals to lead us to this.

It's Arsenal v Manchester City, in High Wycombe. Let's get the final started...
