Celtic defender Virgil van Dijk stings the palms of Dinamo Zagreb keeper Eduardo with a shot from outside the box and within 20 seconds Kris Commons weaves his way through the Croatians' defence but his slipped ball into the box for Anthony Stokes is released with his team-mate offside.

Jenni: "If you want to get out of the group stages in Europe you have to win your home matches. It's a tried and tested theory, a win tonight against Dinamo Zagreb is a must for Celtic."

Kevin Kampl has drawn the visitors level in Romania. In the other Group D tie, it's 1-1 between Astra Giurgiu and SV Red Bull Salzburg.

Oh, boy! I think we could do with a "great shot/great save" graphic. Eduardo directs a cracking angled volley at the Celtic goal from 14 yards but Craig Gordon makes a terrific save to keep his team in front.

Dinamo Zagreb flash two shots just wide of the target, first through Pinto from out on the right, then from Wilson Eduardo from 20 yards. At the other end, Aleksandar Tonev makes sure Eduardo doesn't have too much time to think about that horror pass a moment ago as he tests him from long range with a low shot but the keeper makes a comfortable save.

Josip Simunic passes the ball back to Eduardo in the Zagreb goal, who shimmies past Anthony Stokes in the six-yard box then, inexplicably, hits the ball straight to Kris Commons with the outside of his boot. The Celtic goalscorer must have been taken aback at the sudden generosity as he messes up a simple pass across goal to Stokes and a golden chance is gone.

Domagoj Antolic stretches to reach the ball in midfield but is way off the pace and takes Kris Commons down instead. A straightforward booking.

"Celtic are playing well, without really threatening Eduardo's goal since Kris Commons' strike, but that Wilson Eduardo thunderbolt off the bar shows they probably need at least another goal to even begin to think about victory."

Eduardo makes a dash towards the Celtic box and before a green and white shirt can close him down he positively hammers a shot off the crossbar, with Craig Gordon at full stretch.

There's a really good pace to the game. More goals to come, you imagine. It may not be the Champions League but both sides are showing bags of appetite for the encounter.

Good battling play there by Scott Brown in midfield but his winning tackle and foray forward ends when Kris Commons is robbed of possession.

Wilson Eduardo has a peach of chance to level as he leaps unmarked between Efe Ambrose and Jason Denayer and heads over the bar. That's a warning to Celtic, surely.

Anthony Stokes is late with a challenge, allowing Dinamo Zagreb to build an attack, but it fizzles out and Celtic goalie Craig Gordon launches a long kick-out.

The hugely experienced Josip Simunic is in the visitors' line-up tonight. He has won 103 caps for Croatia and, you may recall, was the player shown three yellow cards by English referee Graham Poll at a 2006 World Cup game.
