BBC Sport's Ged Scott: "Shrewsbury's record capacity Greenhous Meadow crowd - over double this season's home average - has sparked some ironic banter between the two noisy sets of fans, prompted by the Chelsea fans' taunt of "You're here for the first time". Amusing but unprintable response from the Shropshire contingent."

Do you know when you play 5-a-side and there's one player who is just head and shoulders above everyone else? Smashing in shots left, right and centre. That man is Didier Drogba tonight. He blasts another effort at the Shrewsbury goal which is too hot for Jayson Leutwiler to handle but the danger is cleared.

Andy: Rickie Lambert is fluffing his lines tonight, he has a real chance to lay down a marker tonight and stake a claim for a starting place. Mario Balotelli isn't setting the world alight, so Lambert could put himself firmly in the frame with a good performance. He needs a big second half.

  10. KICK-OFFpublished at 21:01 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2014

No Mario and no Wilfried. Both teams as you were as Swansea kick off the second half.

  11. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 21:01 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2014

A massive penalty shout for West Brom is waved away and manager Alan Irvine looks perplexed on the touchline. A cut-back from Brown Ideye prompts Bournemouth central defender Tommy Elphick to slip and his momentum is stopped as he falls on the ball with his hand making clear contact.

    It looks unfortunate but clear-cut.

    Kevin Kilbane
BBC Radio 5 live sports extra at Anfield

"Liverpool dominated possession in the first half but a lot of that was played in front of Swansea. That big opportunity for Lazar Markovic, where he sliced wide, was the biggest chance of the game.

"But Swansea came back into it, created a few problems, but they need to see a bit more from Dyer, Montero and Gomis - certainly on the counter attack.

"Bony could be an option for Swansea, but they saw this as an opportunity to give him a rest. As for Balotelli coming on, I'm not too sure. Lambert has had very little impact. I'd like to see Lambert play between centre halves a little bit more."

Sheffield United should be in front at Stadium MK. Marc McNulty's cross from the right drops perfectly for Stefan Scougall, who is unmarked in the box, but he misjudges his header and puts it over the bar.

BBC Sport's Ged Scott at Greenhous Meadow: "You always got he impression that Chelsea were toying with the Town - and just three minutes into the second half they have their breakthrough as a neat slick exchange involving Salah opens the door for Drogba to run on and fire home left-footed to the right of Jayson Leutwiler. Are the floodgates now going to open?

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:54 Greenwich Mean Time 28 October 2014

It was a long, long night at Anfield last month when Liverpool and Middlesbrough needed 30 penalty kicks to separate them in the third round. And at this rate, with Liverpool misfiring, it could be another late one. Don't let the kids go to bed yet.

"It just shows you how much it means to Didier Drogba with his celebration. Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho will have told his players to wait for those moments and when they come along take them. And that's exactly what Drogba has done."
