It is more joy from Derby and more misery for Wolverhampton Wanderers. Craig Forsyth's cross from the left hand side drifts in behind the hapless Wolves defence, and Johnny Russell is allowed to meet the ball with an emphatic finish. Cue somersault celebrations. Steve McClaren's side are at the top of their game here and are cruising to the top of the table.

  11. ANFIELD ANALYSISpublished at 13:36 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November 2014

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Anfield

"Good old-fashioned fare at Anfield. Liverpool started well but Chelsea in control at the end of the half.

"Boxing promoter Frank Warren may be taking more than a passing interest in the continuing scrap between Liverpool's Martin Skrtel and Chelsea striker Diego Costa - would sell plenty of tickets if they took it away from Anfield and made it official. One, or both, will go if it carries on.

"Liverpool are living on their nerves at the back, with Dejan Lovren doing little as yet to justify his inclusion ahead of Kolo Toure."

  12. Postpublished at 13:34 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November 2014

    Former England winger Chris Waddle
BBC Radio 5 live at Anfield

"Liverpool started brightly but Chelsea have been dominant. They really should be winning this game and maybe could have put it to bed.

"Yes you can say that confidence is a real issue, but the big difference between the two sides is that when Chelsea don't have the ball their creative players, like Eden Hazard and Oscar, do a good job for the team defensively. I don't think Liverpool's creative players do the same. And I don't think they are asking enough questions of the Chelsea back four either."

    Derby playing like Real Madrid...

  15. GOALpublished at 13:31 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November 2014

It is a superbly worked goal from Derby County, who are more than demonstrating their worth as Championship table-toppers. Intricate passing in the final third ended with Will Hughes flicking the ball into the path of Jeff Hendrick, who kept his composure and placed his second of the game into the corner. Wolves have a battle on now to prevent the hosts totally running away with this one.

    Former England winger Chris Waddle

"I have to say, it's not Chelsea's good play but Liverpool's terrible play that is leading to chances for the visitors. The Liverpool defence are at sixes and sevens at times. They look so uncomfortable in possession. Eden Hazard has had loads of the ball in the past 5-10 minutes. He's had three shots, two of them were blocked and one was an easy save by Simon Mignolet."
