That's that for FA Cup action this week, with Euro 2016 qualifying taking centre stage from Friday.

Scotland host Republic of Ireland and we'll be back with live updates for that game, and the rest of the European action then.

You can watch all the goals from the FA Cup first-round this weekend on the BBC Sport FA Cup index, where you can also read match reports, features and previews.

  3. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:51 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November 2014

There's some happy away fans as several dance a conga in the stands as the final whistle goes. Professional win for the hosts, with Walsall or Shrewsbury awaiting in the next round.

  4. Postpublished at 21:49 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November 2014

Three minutes of stoppage time is shown on the fourth official's board with Preston still pushing. They want a fourth.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:47 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November 2014

Kevin Davies is denied the chance to have his name on the scoresheet as Ryan Young produces a fine one-handed save to push the striker's shot behind from six yards. That was Preston's 22nd shot on goal.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:45 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November 2014

Callum Robinson gets a huge applause from the travelling Preston fans as he goes off, with Scott Laird replacing the hat-trick man for the final few minutes.

Warren Cummings joins Brian Stock in the dressing room and a television shot shows the pair looking a little glum as they watch the remainder of the game. Not quite the night they had hoped for but Havant & Waterlooville have given a solid account of themselves, despite the scoreline.

  8. GOALpublished at 21:39 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November 2014

Callum Robinson blasts home the penalty to seal the win and his hat-trick against nine-man Havant & Waterlooville.

  9. PENALTYpublished at 21:38 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November 2014

Penalty to Preston as Warren Cummings uses his hand to stop a shot on the line and he is sent off as a result. It would have been a certain goal - and thus a hat-trick - for the heavily involved Callum Robinson.

Seconds earlier a header from Robinson hit the crossbar, an Alan Browne shot seconds later hit the post and Robinson then saw his goal-bound shot saved - somewhat illegally - by Cummings.

What you might describe as a very busy few seconds.

Half a chance for the hosts as Perry Ryan almost bulldozes his way into the area but Neil Kilkenny and Tom Clarke throw themselves in his way and block the shot. Just over 12 minutes left.

Bit of a cross-sporting tale here for our latest suggestion on the star names feature....

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:32 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November 2014

Changes for both sides as Josh Brownhill and Paul Gallagher go off for the away side, to be replaced by Neil Kilkenny and Kyel Reid, while striker Alan Connell comes on for JJ Hooper for the hosts.

Hawks boss Lee Bradbury says he is going to go more direct with Connell's introduction. Fair play to them, they've given a decent account of themselves.

  13. CLOSE!published at 21:29 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November 2014

It has been a while since we've had any action of note but Preston have two chances in quick succession as Kevin Davies holds the ball up well and lays it off for Josh Brownhill, who shoots wide, before Paul Gallagher warms the gloves of Ryan Young with a dipping effort. The home side look to be tiring.

It's been an easy night for Preston defender Scott Wiseman, with the hosts having managed just one shot on target.

Best to enjoy it, though, as in a couple of days he will line-up against Germany for Gibraltar in Euro 2016 qualifying. It's not quite like marking Mario Gotze tonight...

A couple more tales of your star names playing in the lower leagues here....

Havant & Waterlooville make a couple of changes as forward Shamir Mullings is brought on for Bradley Bubb and Perry Ryan replaces Ben Swallow. Can they make a difference? It's a big ask.

It gets worse for Havant & Waterlooville as Brian Stock is sent off against his former club, picking up a second yellow for a bad challenge on Alan Browne.

  18. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November 2014

Havant & Waterlooville's Scott Donnelly tumbles under a challenge inside the penalty area but referee Steve Martin is not interested though and to be fair, the protests came from the stands rather than on the pitch.

Home boss Lee Bradbury thinks otherwise, though, as he swipes his fist through the air in disgust.

  19. Who is Callum Robinson?published at 21:10 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November 2014

The Preston goalscorer is a 19-year-old forward on loan at Deepdale from Aston Villa.

Born in Northampton, he is an England U16, U17, U19 and U20 international. He came through the youth ranks at Villa and has made four first-team appearances at the club.

Looks like Havant & Waterlooville have made a tactical switch to double up on Callum Robinson, who was by far the best player in the first half. Seems to be doing the job so far, as he has not had a sniff as yet.
