If there is one word that the Spurs players will be hearing in training this week, it's 'clinical.'
Mauricio Pochettino just said it about 24 times in two minutes.

If there is one word that the Spurs players will be hearing in training this week, it's 'clinical.'
Mauricio Pochettino just said it about 24 times in two minutes.
Ola in Reading: How Arsenal have missed Giroud this last three months.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino, speaking to BBC Sport: "We're very disappointed because we created some chances to score and after we conceded in Chelsea's first action, the game changed. After two or three minutes we made a mistake and they scored again.
"But I want to congratulate my players because they were brave in the second half. It was difficult but this is football. You need to be clinical in front of goal against Chelsea. We had a lot of chances in the first 20 minutes but we were unlucky we didn't score and then they did.
"We're a very young team. Today you could see that we have a very young squad who need games. It's not because of that we lost. Chelsea were just very clinical in front of goal."
Hull goalscorer Sone Aluko: "It was a fair result - we dug in after giving away a sloppy goal. It felt very good to score my first league goal of the season. We were on bit of a slump so it was key to stop that. This result was massive - it was a very important result for us."
Southampton manager Ronald Koeman talking to BBC Sport: "We had a good positive reaction after last Sunday, a good first half, good ball possession, a good chance off Pelle. After an hour it was more difficult, Arsenal were pressing more but the difference was 11 v 10. We were unlucky to get a player injured after making all of our substitutions, you know they will create chances and in the last few minutes they made it 1-0. Forster had a very good game today.
"We knew it would be difficult but the performance today is better than Sunday. We know we don't have the numbers of players that Arsenal and Manchester United have."
Craig in Blackburn: So after everyone getting carried away with Saints for 10 games, it'll be back to business as usual in top 4 for Christmas. time to focus on battle against the drop!
A masterpiece in understatement from Will Buckley there. Sergio Aguero was quite simply on a higher plain tonight. City's performance was so sparkling at times that it was easy to forget that Sunderland went ahead.
Sunderland midfielder Will Buckley, speaking to Sky Sports: "We played so well against Chelsea on Saturday and it probably showed in our legs. City's top players turned up and punished our mistakes.
"We worked hard to get the lead and to get pegged back within two minutes was a blow. When Sergio Aguero is on that form he is difficult to contain."

"It's all very well for people to want Arsene Wenger to leave, but who will Arsenal get in who is better?
"I'm a great admirer of what he's done there over the years, but you have to give credit to the other clubs for getting better as well."
Gordon D'Mello:, external If Fraser Forster had half the game he did today, it'd be at least a 3-0 win for Arsenal & would be a much different reaction
Philip Fernandes:, external All the attention will be on Southampton's injuries but I thought Wenger's substitutes were spot on today
Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster on BBC Sport: "It is disappointing. We have matched them for 90 minutes but couldn't see the game out. It is hard enough 11 against 11 but with a man short it is so tough. We needed a bit of luck that we didn't get.
"We just need to keep believing and keep doing what we did in the first 10 games of the season."
Vince in London: So let me get this clear. Wenger gets criticised for not bringing in world class players. He buys Sanchez then he he still gets criticised because he is Arsenals top scorer. I suppose Arsenal of the early noughties were average minus Thierry Henrys goals right?
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, speaking to BBC Sport: "We played against a very good team and they showed that during some periods in the game. They started better than us and should have scored before us, but after our first goal our team became more stable and confident and we controlled the game. I'm really happy with the points, performance and spirit of the players. It's too heavy a result, though, for Tottenham."
On resting players: "When they need a rest, they are able to answer. December is a difficult month and it's almost impossible for players to play every game this month - certainly later in the month I have to change some players. Of course, Diego Costa is already rested and now Nemanja Matic is suspended for one game so he will be rested."
Celtic move three points clear at the top of the Premiership after a 1-0 win over Partick Thistle but the big talking point is Alloa's remarkable win over Rangers in the Petrofac Training Cup. Ally McCoist's men were cruising towards the final at 2-0 up but the part-time Wasps had other ideas, with Greig Spence firing in his second goal of the evening to seal it on 89 minutes.
Chelsea play next in the early game on Saturday, at Newcastle. They will be without midfielder Nemanja Matic, who picked up his fifth booking of the season tonight. A phone call to John Mikel Obi?
Nigel in Selsey: At least we kept it below 5 this time. Can we have our Tottenham back please Mr Levy?
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho still looks a bit grumpy, but he's happy enough with a win against 'a very good team who should score before us.'
Full reaction from all four games to come here.
John Pierce:, external I think Howard needs a rest, Distin a retirement home, Martinez a plan B & C. Toffees lacked tempo all night. Disgruntled
Mark in Berkshire: very costly defeat for Southampton against an average Arsenal; injuries to key players. A tin hat needed for us Saints in the next few weeks.
Chelsea stay six points clear at the top of the table, with Manchester City hitting form behind them. Southampton remain third but they are just one point above Manchester United now, with West Ham closely behind in fifth.
