It is still very quiet on the north-eastern front. Leicester and Hull are still shadow-boxing round each other at the KC Stadium. Plenty of perspiration, but no sign of any inspiration as yet.
It's all a bit lop-sided from Crystal Palace, who seem to be relying heavily on Yannick Bolasie down the left. At the other end, Charlie Austin drills in a low shot which the keeper deals with easily.
James Milner channels his inner Gary Lineker, putting on a spurt to arrive at the near post ahead of two Burnley defenders.
That finishing is a little short of Lineker's standards though. Milner toes a half-volley clean over the top and goalkeeper Tom Heaton waves it on its way.
Stoke go close when that little magician Bojan drags a shot wide from just outside the box.
Aston Villa are getting on the ball in front of their home fans, popping passes around nicely, but to little effect. Villa have had 75% possession so far, but zero chances of note.
MOTD's Jonathan Pearce at St Mary's
"Victor Wanyama has just given away a free-kick 30 yards from goal. That's the difference between him and Morgan Schneiderlin, who tends not to foul in those areas."
West Ham boss Sam Allardyce promised his side would have a go at Arsenal this afternoon and his players are backing up his words in a lively start. Arsenal need to get hold of the ball.
It is already looking like a training drill at the Etihad. Ten attackers against 11 defenders packed into the Burnley half of the pitch. Kieran Trippier heads a Jesus Navas cross behind for a corner.
This is one match where a lanky targetman like the injured Edin Dzeko might have been useful for City.
Stoke's Glenn Whelan hits the deck in the penalty box under a challenge from Craig Gardner but referee Roger East, who is yet to award a spot kick this season, waves play on. Gardner may have just glanced the toe of Whelan.
We're back under way at St Mary's, where Chelsea have brought on Willian for Andre Schurrle. This game kicked off at 14:05 GMT, remember.
The first glimmer of a chance for Manchester City, and it probably fell to exactly the wrong man. Martin Demichelis smacks a far post volley straight into Burnley defender Jason Shackell with the goal yawning five yards in front of him.
City have started well. There will be plenty more chances where that came from.
Wilfried Zaha appears to be playing as a false nine for Palace today. Caretaker boss Keith Millen is across all of the key fashions in football, it seems.
Alex Song thinks he has put West Ham ahead with a 20-yard volley into the bottom corner of the net. The linesman's flag is up for offside against Diafra Sakho though. Song and manager Sam Allardyce look confused.
Leicester and Hull are cancelling each other out so far at the KC. Nip and tuck. Only the scoreline matters today, no points for style.
Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata:, external Not the result we wanted... But White Hart Lane is always a difficult stadium. Thanks for your support!
All the play is in the centre of midfield early on at Loftus Road. We're not going to say this is a six-pointer, but...
Connor Wickham with the first shot in anger at Villa Park. The Sunderland striker's effort from the fringes of the box, catches a hefty deflection and loops wide for an early Black Cats corner.
Tim Arstall:, external Dare I say Eden Hazard is the best dribbler in world football? Definitely comparable to Messi with his flicks and control
Firas:, external Absolute brilliance from Hazard just when we needed it most. Another Fabregas assist to add to it!
Kuntal Majumdar:, external Hazard. A special, special player!!!
James Milner is continuing his experimental stint up front for Manchester City. He will have his work cut out to find some space today.
Burnley have already packed nine outfield players behind the ball in the opening stages.
