Disappointing from Cardiff's point of view as it's another game without a clean sheet, but credit to Freddie Sears who took his goal well for Colchester. Cardiff need to keep clear heads now.

Although it looks like a record low crowd for the Cardiff City Stadium, Kadeem Harris and Kenwyne Jones' goals have made for an atmosphere of contentment among the home fans who can now start looking forward to the fourth round draw.
The sense of apprehension which hung in the air earlier this evening has been lifted with Cardiff's two goals in the second half.

When you've got someone of the ability of Peter Whittingham on the ball you don't need to be running channels, you've just got to get in there. It's times like this you want to see Cardiff put their foot on the floor and put Colchester to the sword.
Colchester United's Sanchez Watt replaces Gavin Massey.
Just seconds after coming onto the pitch Kenwyne Jones heads in a Peter Whittingham corner to surely seal Cardiff's place in the fourth round.
It is the striker's 10th goal of the season.
