Alan Pardew departs the scene like a victorious army general, saluting the travelling fans as he strides off the Crabble surface.

It was only Dover, but his side looked slick coming forward and solid at the back. Goalkeeper Wayne Henessey leaves the pitch as pristine as when he arrived.

    A very professional job.

There's a bit of fun in the tunnel as two opposing teams of mascots line up opposite each other, and the little ones goad each other. All good fun, mind, with plenty of smiles and cheekiness. Good to see.

  16. GOALpublished at 14:45 Greenwich Mean Time 4 January 2015

Real Premier League quality from Palace cuts the Dover defence to ribbons.

Barry Bannan clips a beautifully weighted ball into the path of Jerome Thomas's intelligent run and the substitute serves up a perfect low cross for Kevin Doyle to poke in from a yard.

It is the former Wolves man's first goal for the club. He has only played five games though.

"Yeovil's fans were here in their hundreds just to welcome the Manchester United team coach as it arrived - and there will be plenty to see on the pitch as well.

"Wayne Rooney and Radamel Falcao start, as does David de Gea. British record £59.7m signing Angel Di Maria is on the bench as he eases his way back into action after hamstring trouble."
