It is 16 games unbeaten for Dover Athletic and manager Chris Kinnear tells BT Sport the secret of their recent success: "We get the ball up there and try to score. If we try to score at their end they are not scoring at our end, simple as that.

"We just have to go and do what we have been doing, they are a good side but you can only do as well as you have been doing."

Dover are also yet to concede a goal in four FA Cup matches this season.

Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew, speaking to BT Sport: "I am thinking about Crystal Palace today and this FA Cup game, which will be tricky.

"Dover are on a good run and I am looking forward to what should be a great game. Palace used to be my old club, I have a great connection with them and I am looking forward to the game. The guys have conducted themselves well since I have arrived.

"It is a potentially slippery game. I love that. We had to park at the bottom of the hill and walk up to the ground, which is a bit different to what we are used to in the Premier League. It is good fun, there was good banter up and down."

The travelling Crystal Palace fans are determined to give as good as they get on their trip to the coast today.

"Are you Brighton in disguise?" they enquire of the home fans, before asking a little more pointedly about who exactly the Eagles are playing today.

Dover assistant manager Mark Newson doubles as an academy coach at Crystal Palace, and he also has links to Alan Pardew too.

The pair played alongside each other at Tottenham in 1995 during Spurs' Intertoto Cup campaign.

Newson says: "I haven't seen Alan at Palace this week myself, but I'm just hoping that if we beat them on Sunday I'm still in a job [at Palace] on Monday!"

Could a bit of inside knowledge give Dover the edge?

How cold can you serve up revenge?

Well, Leeds boss Neil Redfearn has a 42-year itch to scratch against Sunderland today.

The last time the teams met in the FA Cup was the 1973 final when Ian Porterfield's goal and Jimmy Montgomery's wondersave denied Don Revie's heavily fancied Leeds back-to-back Cup successes.

"For the supporters, it's the tradition of it with the fixture in 1973 for people who can remember that far back," Redfearn said.

"From their point of view as well, we want revenge, we want to get the result we couldn't get then."

Convicted rapist Ched Evans is in talks about signing with League One club Oldham Athletic, BBC Sport understands.

Last month Oldham denied reports they were set to offer the 26-year-old a contract, or let him train with them.

Striker Evans has been without a club since he left prison in October after serving half of a five-year term for raping a woman in a hotel in May 2011.

Earlier, players' chief Gordon Taylor said an unnamed club would hold a news conference regarding Evans on Monday.

Alan Pardew has just appeared in front of the television cameras at Dover and says that he wants to see a "little more exuberance" from his new side, ahead of a "potentially slippery" tie.

He also reports that his side were on the receiving end of a "good bit of banter" as they walked up to the ground from a distant coach parking sport.

New Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew names a strong side for his first game in charge of the Eagles.

Wayne Hennessey comes into goal while midfielders Barry Bannan and Stuart O'Keefe come into the side, with forwards Dwight Gayle and Glenn Murray also start. Otherwise, the likes of Wilfried Zaha and Scott Dann retain their place in the side.

Dover, who are on a run of 16 games unbeaten, name an unchanged side from their last outing.

Dover XI: Rafferty, Essam, Orlu, Bonner, Raggett. Sterling, Bellamy, Cogan, Deverdics, Murphy, Payne

Crystal Palace XI: Hennessey, Ward, Dann, Delaney, Kelly, Bannan, Ledley, O'Keefe, Zaha, Gayle, Murray.

If you are into body language, then Dover v Crystal Palace is screaming Cupset.

The Conference hosts have turned up joking, joshing and looking thoroughly relaxed.
