"It's been cagey opening to the second half and a dogged performance from Everton. The longer the game goes on at 0-0 the more you sense the home side can nick the win."

Eidur Gudjohnsen has levelled it up for Bolton against Leeds with a penalty three minutes into the second half.

That's his first Trotters goal since a 2-2 second-tier play-off draw against Ipswich in 2000. Dean Holdsworth and Marcus Stewart were the other scorers that day.

Sheffield Wednesday are 2-0 up away to Nottingham Forest with Chris Maguire netting.

    Garth Crooks on Final Score

On Wilfried Bony potentially signing for Manchester City: "Wilfried Bony is made for the Premier League. He's strong, he's athletic, his link-up play is first class. With the likes of David Silva, Yaya Toure and Sergio Aguero - it could be a fantastic relationship with that team."

    BBC Final Score

Former Manchester United striker Andrew Cole: "I've not changed who I believe is going to win the league. I went for Chelsea and I still believe they're going to win it. Jose Mourinho has a lot of winners in the team."

Good early pressure from Hull as they look to respond from their first-half injury setbacks, but lacking the final ball at the moment characterised by Ahmed Elmohamady's deep cross into the area going straight into the hands of Ben Foster.

Sergio Aguero is warming up on the touchline for Manchester City. Not a bad sub to have up your sleeve.

Ian Dennis, BBC Radio 5 live commentator at Goodison Park

"Manchester City are just not clicking in the final third, but ominously for Everton they have scored in their last 17 games."

"It was a wonderful effort from Ross Barkley from a free-kick. He used the wind to help him guide it past the wall but it didn't come back quite enough."

  14. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:02 Greenwich Mean Time 10 January 2015

We're getting back under way in the second half.

  15. 'We waited for Liverpool to score'published at 15:58 Greenwich Mean Time 10 January 2015

Sunderland manager Gus Poyet: "If you go by the rules then I can go with the referee because they are both yellow cards for Liam Bridcutt.

"When you are 11 v 11 and have a better chance, sometimes you are a little bit too relaxed because you think it is even. Then when you find yourself down to 10 the players bring something extra. It is a shame that we didn't do that in the first half.

"We did practically nothing in the first half apart from wait for Liverpool to score. Then we had a go."

  16. 'Gerrard outstanding'published at 15:57 Greenwich Mean Time 10 January 2015

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers: "Our only disappointment against Sunderland was we didn't have the extra goals to show for our domination. We had real good control of the game.

"It was important for us today, we had real good solidity. A 1-0 victory was very convincing for us today against a good side.

"Losing the man probably threw us a little more than them. We had a 10-minute spell after that where we didn't keep the ball well enough but then regained the control of the game.

"It was a really good team performance and very pleasing.

"Steven Gerrard just felt a bit tight in his hamstring. He has played a lot of games.

"He was outstanding in the first half. We don't need to risk it as we have got a big second half of the season coming up and he is very important for us."

BBC Sport's Chris Bevan at Turf Moor

"They trail at the break but you would not write off QPR's chances of ending their away-day woes at a freezing cold Turf Moor - you can see from the way both sides have defended why they are at the bottom end of the table, and Charlie Austin probably fancies his chances of getting more goals against his old club.

"The problem for QPR is that Danny Ings looks just as dangerous for the Clarets at the other end."

Hang on, who's this at Goodison Park? A new signing? No... it's Andrei Kanchelskis. The Russian, carrying slightly more timber than when he was scorching turf down the wing, is applauded by both sets of supporters. Remember, he did play for City once upon a time.

    Alistair Mann
Match of the Day commentator at Turf Moor

"It's been a breathless first half. This see-saw contest could go either way but, at the moment, Burnley are shading it."
