Birmingham manager Gary Rowett: "I was a little disappointed to go 2-0 down. I felt we conceded two sloppy goals. But the goal before half time gave us a bit more belief and in the second half we pinned in a good Premier League side.

"We were the dominant team and their keeper has had to make three or four very good saves.

"We have got to take great pride from that second-half performance. I am incredibly proud of the players and really pleased they gave the crowd a performance."

  4. Manager reactionpublished at 18:28 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

West Brom manager Tony Pulis: "We played very well in the first half and I was really disappointed we conceded a goal in added time which gave them a lift.

"Give them credit, in the second half they threw everything at us. We had to show some more resilience and we did that.

"They put us under pressure but we defended very well. I was very pleased with the performance. It was a cracking cup tie and a throw-back to the old days. I really enjoyed it."

  5. Manager reactionpublished at 18:27 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Fulham boss Kit Symons: "It was a bit disappointing in the end but we came to a Premier League side and acquitted ourselves very well.

"Our quality in the final third has been generally good but was lacking a little bit today. They are a top flight side with some excellent players though and you expect them to step up when they go down to 10 men."

  6. Manager reactionpublished at 18:24 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Sunderland boss Gus Poyet: "It was a poor game overall. The second half was better, there was more emotion and more pressing. The sending off changed the game but it is football, if you see the results in the FA Cup today it shows it means so much for teams.

"We were better with 10 men than 11. The players know someone is missing so they give an extra bit, it is disappointing that they don't do that before but I think that is just human nature."

"Bolton started well, which was important from Neil Lennon's point of view, but I thought as the half progressed the pace of Lallana, Sterling and Coutinho would count but somehow Bolton always got a foot in. Bolton are still in this."

  11. Manager reactionpublished at 18:18 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Preston boss Simon Grayson: "It was a typical cup tie, end-to-end with both teams trying to win it. It does mean another game but both teams will be happy to be in the hat for the next round on Monday.

"Winning matches breeds confidence. I think if you ask players, they will not mind playing Saturday-Tuesday."

  12. Manager reactionpublished at 18:18 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Sheffield United boss Nigel Clough: "It is about building momentum. We believe success in all competitions goes hand-in-hand. We don't like losing, we fight and scrap and we deserved our goal today.

"It is another midweek we have filled with the replay in the League Cup, we came here today, we did not want to get knocked out."

"Bolton have been second best for the last 20 minutes in terms of possession, but defensively they have stood up well."

This game is petering out toward the half-time whistle. Bolton manager Neil Lennon will be delighted with his side's showing.

  16. Manager reactionpublished at 18:14 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January 2015

Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew: "The players have been phenomenal. I did have a chuckle this morning when I saw the think-tank in the paper when it said we had 0.02% chance to win the FA Cup, that's probably gone up a bit.

"I thought both teams were great. There was some really good football played. We are disappointed with the goals we conceded but the third goal would have graced any pitch in the world.

"Yayao Sanogo was good, Marouane Chamakh was better so it gives me a welcome selection headache."

Steve: As a Chelsea supporter of five decades and at the game today I have to congratulate Bradford City. I thought I'd seen the last of these type of shocks involving us but not the case. Good luck in the next round.

Alex Royal: Who says that the FA cup has lost its spark?! Every single Middlesbrough player should be SO proud of themselves. Que sera sera!

Kevin, Hornchurch: Great day for football and the supporters. Money not everything! Just amazing. Looking forward to Bradford v Blackburn final.
