Swansea City are bidding to record the South Wales club's first 'double' against the 20-time English champions.

But this Manchester United is a different proposition to the one they faced on the opening day. The Red Devils have taken 34 points from the last 45 - more than any other team in the league has managed during that period.

Shrewsbury boss Micky Mellon goes back to former club Tranmere, where he had two spells as a player, with his side looking to stay top of League Two.

The Shrews have won five and drawn two of their last seven games, while Tranmere start the day just one place above the drop zone.

Burton could capitalise on any slip-up from the leaders as they chase a fourth win in five games at Dagenham and Redbridge, although the Daggers are also in decent form with just one defeat in nine games.

Hartlepool are running out of time at the bottom and could do with a first away win since mid-October at play-off hopefuls Bury.

With Cheltenham taking just a point from a 1-1 draw at Accrington on Friday night to stay in the bottom two, theirrelegation rivals will look to steal a march with Oxford in 19th entertaining Mansfield, who are just one place above them.

Hull City manager Steve Bruce: "When you get down to this part of season then you are going to see some strange results. We are hoping that at the bottom end someone goes into freefall.

"It's always difficult to beat the top teams and that's why we end up at the bottom of the division, so when you can beat the teams around you, like we did last week at Aston Villa, then it is huge.

"An unchanged team is a good thing. For first time in three or four months we are a bit settled. When you are forced into making four or five changes each week you know you are up against it."

League One leaders Bristol City will look to maintain their grip on top spot with another three points at struggling Colchester, who have won at home only once in the league since October.

Third-placed Swindon are at home to Crawley and could sneak past MK Dons into the second automatic promotion place if the Dons allow near-ish neighbours Peterborough to complete the double for the second season running.

But there would be no celebrating with a hot meal at Swindon, where a power cut has decimated the menu.

FA Cup quarter-finalists Bradford are still pushing for a play-off place on the back of a remarkable run of just two defeats since the start of November and entertain mid-table Walsall.

Manager-less Barnsley will be looking for a response against Crewe - with five wins in their last eight games- after losing 5-1 to Crawley last weekend.

And bottom club Yeovil, also without a manager, have brought in four new faces in a bid to avoid a third successive league defeat against Gillingham, who have continued their good run under new boss Justin Edinburgh.

The scrummage at the top of the Championship will doubtless see further twists and turns following Middlesbrough's early afternoon 1-0 defeat at home to Leeds.

Bournemouth, away to faltering Brentford, and Derby, at home to a Sheffield Wednesday side that hasn't won in six games, could both reclaim the top spot no-one seems able to hang onto.

Ipswich could also move level on points with overnight leaders Boro but if even if Bournemouth and Derby both slip up they would need too many goals from a potential third successive win against FA Cup quarter-finalists Reading to head the race for promotion.

While that trio slug it out, the game of the day could come at Watford with the fifth-placed, free-scoring Hornets facing an in-form Norwich side, who are occupying the final play-off spot after three straight wins.

At the bottom, improving Millwall could drag Fulham further into relegation trouble if they hand the Cottagers a fifth successive away defeat.

QPR manager Chris Ramsey: "Charlie Austin is back and we have a debutant in Darnell Furlong at right-back. So it is a similar team with just those two changes.

"To have Charlie back is a boost. People have talked about him and his exploits so it has been a boost for the club."

Darnell Furlong is the son of former QPR and Chelsea striker Paul. We all feel really old...

West Brom boss Tony Pulis: "It's always a tough game here, and I don't think Sunderland will disappoint us in that respect. We've got to be ready to go.

"We've had a superb run and we need to keep it going. We will try to stay as solid as we can. We need to be nice and compact. We should gain confidence from our recent games because we've played so well."

Sunderland boss Gus Poyet on making five changes to the team knocked out of the FA Cup at Bradford: "For the first time in a while, we have a good squad together, so I would say we've picked a team with the character to play at home and try to win the game. We will see if it works.

"Lee Cattermole is definitely fit. Jermain Defoe - we will see.

"It's a big game. There are some times in a season when it looks as if you are getting better, and then there are setbacks. We need to make sure we start winning games. There are no excuses. Everything is set - let's try to win the game."

"A fantastic victory for Leeds, but it's a really disappointing result for Middlesbrough. That early goal rocked them and they seemed to panic a bit, I'm surprised by that. They never showed composure in the final third. Marco Silvestri made 10 good saves, but every single one you would have to say you would expect him to make. Maybe Leeds deserved it for their sheer effort."
