"Radamel Falcao has had a poor time by his high standards, while Marouane Fellaini will always cause problems with his height and physicality.

"For a defender, you have to hope that Manchester United try to keep the ball on the floor and don't want to knock it long. If they go aerial, Fellaini can cause all sorts of problems. Newcastle have to make sure they stick close to him, because he is strong in the air and strong on the ground."

"It is a strange decision, to leave Vincent Kompany out. To have him on the bench even is odd - Pellegrini has opened himself up to all sorts of speculation. He has dropped his captain, City's best defender for three seasons. It's a big, brave call.

"Would it not have been slightly easier, with all that Manchester City are going through, to leave him out of the team and leave him out altogether? Then you can say he's been rested, or whatever. To have him on the bench is a clear indication that Kompany has been dropped."

QPR haven't won at home since 20 December. If they could win tonight, it would see them leapfrog Aston Villa and moving back out of the relegation zone.

    That's a big if though.

"Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini was forced to defend himself and fight back at suggestions his job will be under threat after the loss at Anfield that followed on from the home defeat to Barcelona in the Champions League leaving him facing the prospect of no trophies this season.

"One things is certain, irrespective of Pellegrini's personal position - City simply cannot afford another slip to bottom club Leicester City here at The Etihad with Chelsea five points clear with a game in hand."

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini says he is under no pressure from the club's owners to retain the Premier League title this season.

The champions are five points behind leaders Chelsea, who also have a game in hand, after suffering a 2-1 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.

"The only pressure is when I don't see my team playing like I want it to," added Pellegrini.

"Never when I sign a contract do they tell me I have to win the title every year, or five titles in five years.

"Only one team wins and that doesn't mean all the others are failures. There are different ways to analyse a season, the title is important but not the only important thing."

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho: "The players are fine, a good reaction after the League Cup final. The players are strong, we don't have a game at the weekend and they are ready for this.

"We changed Oscar for Willian because he is faster and more direct. We have the two best two goalkeepers in the country so it doesn't matter who plays. Petr Cech had the happiness of the final, so Courtois is compensated by playing in this and the Champions League."

If you keep saying it Jose it doesn't make it true. Even Petr Cech's mum has David De Gea ahead of him in her fantasy football team.
