  1. Post update

Well that's it from me tonight folks. Thanks for joining me on what was a thrilling night of Europa League action at Celtic Park.

These two sides will do it all again next week in Milan and if that game is half as good as this one, then we're in for a real treat.

Keep an eye on the BBC Scotland Sport website for further reaction to tonight's game.

  2. Post update

    CELTIC MANAGER RONNY DEILA

"It was an unbelievable football match with an unbelievable atmosphere. I am so proud of the boys to come back from 2-0 down against an Italian team. We caused them problems and got a result in the end."

  3. Post update

Both defences are taking a good kicking from our colleagues on Sportsound, but all are in agreement that tonight's match was great entertainment.

  4. Post update

    John Guidetti goal

It was worth the wait for John Guidetti as he finally got back on the scoresheet in injury time against Inter. That was the type of finishing the Swede was showing earlier this season.

  5. Post update

BBC Scotland pundit Willie Miller at Celtic Park

"Celtic have given themselves a chance with that last minute goal. Inter are favourites but only narrow favourites now."

Mark McManus: "Chance may have gone for Celtic to go through but what a turnaround for the team from the start of season. No hammering as predicted by some."

  7. Post update

We'll hopefully here from the Celtic manager Ronny Deila soon.

  8. Post update

    John Guidetti

What a way to end a scoring drought. John Guidetti smashed home a left foot effort that secured a crucial draw for Celtic.

  9. Post update

Pete from Edinburgh: "Bringing a boy like Henderson on instead of African Cup finalist Wakaso was stupid."

It didn't work out too badly Pete.

  10. Post update

Just after that John Guidetti goal, Inter had one last chance but Xherdan Shaqiri's free-kick was well saved by Craig Gordon.

  11. JOIN THE DEBATE

Dylan Mckaig: "Inter don't need to score next week. Celtic have a long game ahead of them. I can't see them winning it."

Matt Davis: "Every player has bad games or halves sometimes but credit Gordon for a HUGE second half showing!"

  12. Post update

John Guidetti comes off the bench to break his scoring duck and secure a 3-3 draw for Celtic, who were 2-0 down after just 14 minutes of the game.

  13. Post update

That was a proper night of European action. Six goals and all the drama you could pack into just over 90 minutes.

  14. FULL-TIME

  15. GOAL

CELTIC 3-3 INTER MILAN (JOHN GUIDETTI)

What a finish to this one. John Guidetti starts the move and then races beyond the defence to get on the end of Liam Henderson's pass, before producing a brilliant left foot finish to make it 3-3.

  16. Post update

Gary Mackay-Steven and Efe Ambrose link up on the right but when the ball is played into the box there are four Inter defenders without a hooped shirt near them. Easy clearance.

  17. Post update

The fourth official indicates four minutes of injury time. That's enough time for six goals by the standards of the first half...

  18. Post update

Celtic are piling forward looking for the leveller but the Italians are well organised. Just a minute left of the 90 now...

  19. GREAT SAVE!

Two tricky left footed wingers battle it out on the touchline and it's Gary Mackay-Steven who gets the better of Inter's Xherdan Shaqiri, winning a throw-in for the hosts.

  36. Post update

The pace has dropped off ever so slightly at the start of this second half, but there's still plenty of threat any time these teams go forward.

  37. Post update

Nir Bitton isn't known for his goals but he goes mighty close with a 35-yarder that goes narrowly wide of Juan Pablo Carrizo right-hand post.

More of the same in the second half please lads...

  52. GOAL

CELTIC 2-3 INTER MILAN (RODRIGO PALACIO)

  81. Post update

Celtic go into the match in excellent form but they have been dealt a blow with the news Kris Commons is out due to a hamstring injury.

Inter have had a poor season by their high standards but the appointment of Roberto Mancini for his second spell in charge seems to now be having the desired impact. They have won their last two Serie A matches - 4-1 at Atalanta and 3-0 at home to Palermo - and are now 10th in the table.

    Alasdair Lamont

    BBC Scotland

European nights at Celtic Park this season have lacked the sparkling intensity of recent seasons - the Europa League will do that. But this evening feels different.
