Another quick-fire goal pulls Celtic level. Stefan Johansen loops the ball into the box following a throw-in and Stuart Armstrong puts enough pressure on Hugo Campagnaro to make the Inter defender knock into his own goal at the near-post.

Adam Matthews bursts down the right brilliantly for Celtic and cuts the ball back into the box where Stuart Armstrong is there to mark his European debut for the club with a simple finish.

The home players are trying to catch their breath now after a lightning start from the visitors.

Stefan Johansen goes down under the challenge of Andrea Ranocchia as he tries to break forward but the Hungarian referee is not interested.

Xherdan Shaqiri has a shot blocked by Craig Gordon but from the resulting corner the same player knocks the ball back into the box and Argentine Rodrigo Palacio reacts quickest to bury it beyond Craig Gordon.

Inter get another sight of goal as a poor clearance from Virgil van Dijk allows Zdravko Kuzmanovic to break forward and unleash a right foot drive, but thankfully for van Dijk it goes high into the stand.

Dylan Mckaig: "Terrible defending. On you go Inter!"

Celtic break forward as they look for an immediate response but Stuart Armstrong's inviting cross into the area is cleared to safety.

It's the start the hosts were dreading as Xherdan Shaqiri squeezes home an effort to give Inter the lead. Zdravko Kuzmanovic knocked the ball over the top and Shaqiri tried a left foot shot that goalkeeper Craig Gordon blocked back into the forward's path, and he made no mistake second time out with a neat low finish.

One of the key battles tonight is sure to be in midfield with Celtic's all-action captain Scott Brown up against Gary "The Pitbull" Medel.

Celtic are chasing down the Italians like terriers and Gary Mackay-Steven has the first dig at goal, but his low effort is no trouble for Juan Pablo Carrizo.

Bertie Auld, one of the Lisbon Lions, was given a tremendous reception by the Celtic fans a few minutes ago and those supporters will be hoping for another win over Inter tonight.

Celtic reached the last 32 by finishing runners-up to Austrian outfit Salzburg in Group D, while Inter Milan finished top of Group F, unbeaten in their six games.

And we're just minutes away from kick-off tonight...

Grant: "I'm predicting 4-0 Inter Milan."

So, not a Celtic fan then Grant, either that or you're a tad pessimistic.
