"What a finish from Fabian Delph. Whatever Tim Sherwood said to his players at half time they have had an immediate response. A great start to the second half.

"Watching Tony Pulis in the build up to that goal, Charles N'Zogbia was allowed to bring the ball down far too easy on this side and Pulis was going mad."

Boom! Boom, shake shake the room! Fabian Delph gives us lift off with a cracking hit, great goal from the Villa captain. They work the ball nicely from the right to the left, Delph is the overlapping man and he can just run on to a perfectly-weighted pass and put his left foot through the shot.

He hits it hard and low from 18 yards, fine technique and power, past Boaz Myhill in a flash.

That's better, and it gets the Holte End singing again. Villa attack with purpose and direction down the right, the ball is cut back to Leandro Bacuna and his low cross is cut out by a stretching Boaz Myhill.

"We saw a real great run from Scott Sinclair in the first half and maybe Tim Sherwood has said to him at the break that is what we want to see and he has done it already. How many times do you see that now, right-footed players cutting in from the left? He will probably give it 10 or fifteen minutes and then swap flanks."

Villa yet to have an effort on target, we had one on target in the whole of the Bradford v Reading game, come on!

"From Aston Villa's point of view I would say give it 10 minutes and then maybe manager Tim Sherwood would look to his bench."

A philosophical debate amongst two former England captains in the studio there. Is goalscoring a skill that can be learned, or a natural gift?

Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer both believe that Gabriel Agbonlahor's movement is not good enough.

"Better movement and more anticipation from Villa's front two would've paid off for them. Gabriel Agbonlahor isn't gambling on getting to the near post. He has got to ask more questions of the defender and if you wait for the ball to come to you, it's too late. If he did that, he'd have a better goalscoring ratio."

"Tony Pulis will be the happier of the two managers at half-time. Craig Gardner has been effective getting balls up to the front two. Everything about Brown Ideye's posture was wrong for that chance when the ball came across to him. He's just got to keep his head down and get over it."

"It wasn't the best game of football in the first half but a typical quarter-final, local derby. There was some quality in it and West Brom started exceptionally well and should be 1-0 up from a Brown Ideye tap in, from my point of view.

"A lot more to come in the second-half if either of these sides want to go on to win it."
