Bristol City manager Steve Cotterill is still looking agitated on the touchline, screaming at his players despite a comfortable lead.

Walsall sub James Baxendale then has a strike from distance, but it goes wide of the post. A familiar pattern is emerging for the Saddlers.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 17:10 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March 2015

Last roll of the dice for Dean Smith as winger Jordan Cook, who hit the bar early in the second half and has looked a threat all day, is replaced by James Baxendale. Could he be the catalyst for a remarkable comeback?

"Bristol City have had it far too easy today all over the pitch, especially in forward areas. It's been a flat performance."

  5. Postpublished at 17:09 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March 2015

BBC Sport's Caroline Chapman at Wembley: "The temperature has dropped dramatically at Wembley and so has the noise from the Walsall end. There's still a few flags flying and cheers of encouragement on the attack but they're aware of the task ahead. The Bristol City fans, meanwhile, are bathing in the late spring sunshine, ready and waiting for the full-time whistle."

  6. Postpublished at 17:09 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March 2015

Bristol City are playing this by the book. The League One leaders have got their lead and are looking solid at the back, while dangerous on the counter attack. It will take quite an effort for Walsall to get back in it from here, but can you imagine the scenes if they did?

The little West Midlands town will never be the same again. Speaking of which, is anyone actually left in Walsall today?

  7. Postpublished at 17:05 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March 2015

The official attendance has just been announced. A staggering 72,315 people are there today, almost 30,000 more than were there to see Manchester United beat Liverpool at Anfield.

We know which one is the bigger game...

Anthony Forde really needs to get his head up here. The winger had three players in the box, but still went for goal, firing well off target.

That's his last piece of action as he's replaced by Ashley Grimes.

  9. Postpublished at 17:02 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March 2015

Bristol City are certainly not allowing Walsall too much of lee-way, but Jordy Hiwula gets a brief bit of space on the edge of the area, but the on-loan Manchester City man blazes a shot nowhere near the goal. It's looking desperate for the Saddlers.

Just been watching some replays of Mark Little's goal, and it looks like it may have hit the arm of the full-back. Walsall fans won't be too happy with that - especially given that he also used to play for local rivals Wolves - but Robins fans won't care.

Richard O'Donnell certainly doesn't look to be carrying any ill-effects from that challenge, and makes a brilliant save off Aaron Wilbraham, who was offside anyway from Mark Little's cross. The Bristol City fans thought they were certainties to put this game to bed.

  12. Postpublished at 16:54 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March 2015

A bit of concern here for Walsall keeper Richard O'Donnell, after he clashes with Bristol City's Korey Smith off a Luke Freeman cross. But thankfully he's back up and looks OK.

  13. Postpublished at 16:52 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March 2015

BBC West Midlands' social media editor John Bray at Wembley: "Two-down but Jordan Cook brings the Saddlers crowd back to life. First his cross hits the upright, with Tom Bradshaw unable to convert the rebound, then another cross drifts wide of Frank Fielding's left hand post. Walsall's fans still backing their team despite the scoreline - and quite right too!"

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:52 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March 2015

Bristol City fans are in a party atmosphere despite that close shave, and Joe Bryan takes a loose ball down well to tee up Marlon Pack, but he waywardly shoots left-footed wide. A third would completely kill this game.

That prompts Walsall boss Dean Smith into a change, bring Jordy Hiwula on for top goalscorer Tom Bradshaw, who has struggled with a hamstring injury recently.

"Walsall lack a bit of energy, a bit of spark, someone to lead and get about the troops.

"They need someone to set the tempo and lead by example. They have got bodies out there but they are not really performing.

"Hopefully Cook hitting the post can be that spark."

Cripes that was close! Jordan Cook does Luke Ayling on the left wing and puts a ball in, which evades everyone, but Frankie Fielding is on hand to tip it onto the crossbar. Derrick Williams, who has been struggling with injury today, then dives to block Tom Bradshaw's follow up on the six-yard box.

  18. Postpublished at 16:46 Greenwich Mean Time 22 March 2015

Walsall are right up against it now, and look to their talisman Tom Bradshaw for a boost. He wins a corner off Aden Flint, but Sam Mantom flashes a strike from the edge of the box over the bar.

"That second goal going in has brought the Bristol City fans to life. Hopefully they can sing their team to victory."

Bristol City have just taken a massive step toward their third Football League Trophy and it's come through the unlikely source of Mark Little. Luke Freeman has the ball out wide on the left and curls in a delicious ball which full-back Little turns towards goal. Richard O'Donnell saves his initial attempt, but can do nothing but flail at his second.

The Bristol City fans, as you'd expect, are going absolutely bonkers.

Little won the Trophy with Peterborough last year, can he do it for the second year in a row?
