That is a wrap from us for the night - see you soon!
Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill: "I'm absolutely delighted with them. Our second-half performances was outstanding. We were tentative in the first half and gave away a silly goal.
"But after that we were terrific. We deserved it and we might have on it.
"The most important thing to say at half-time was that we were still in the game and we had to keep belief. The players will always give it everything. We've scored lots of late goals but that shows the character in that team. That word is overused but it is not an accident. They may lack some things but they don't lack character.
"If we show that drive and determination there is no reason why we can't go on winning."
The top two of each group will book an automatic place in next summer's finals. So who is the driving seat as it stands?
Group A: Czech Republic & Iceland
Group B: Wales & Israel
Group C: Slovakia & Spain
Group D: Poland & Germany
Group E: England & Slovenia
Group F: Romania & Northern Ireland
Group G: Austria & Sweden
Group I: Portugal & Denmark
Frank Davies: Get rid of Keane and start picking Long. Keane a yard too slow and well past his sell by date.
Lukasz Fabianski has a point. He punched the ball out for a corner right at the end but he was under heavy pressure. You'd expect to see a foul given nine times out of 10.
Poland goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski: "They put more pressure on us in the second half. We were trying to defend and catch them on the break, we had a lot of crosses to deal with and defend well. I thought we were unlucky.
"I think we deserved to win but they will say they deserve a point. We did well for almost 90 minutes but a lack of concentration right at the end has cost us. They got the corner for the goal but there should be a free-kick for a foul on me."
Martin O'Neill's side took 63 minutes to have their first attempt on target in the match. After that it was all hands on deck.
Republic of Ireland goalscorer Shane Long: "For the first 45 minutes Poland were brilliant but we changed the shape and we were right in the game then. Scoring against England was a great feeling for me personally but that is up there. It will be between us and Scotland for that second place and we can't drop any more points.
"Losing is massive and it keeps them within touching distance. We need to win our home games and make it a fortress. It was an electric atmosphere from both sets of fans, and it helped us to get back into the game."
That's three late goals for Ireland in their five qualifiers. Mental strength, 'the luck of the Irish', call it what you like. They've been vital.
Daily Star journalist Chris McKenna:, external Imagine that. Bring on a Premier League striker and he scores a goal.
That late, late goal means that Republic of Ireland are just three points off the top of Group D. Poland stay unbeaten and stay on top, but only a point clear of Germany and Scotland. All to play for. Gibraltar may have to settle for a place in the play-offs.
Hungary could not find a way to break down Greece in Group F - and that's good news for Northern Ireland, who are four points above them in second place.
Portugal moved to the top of Group I with a 2-1 victory over Serbia with goals from Ricardo Carvalho and Fabio Coentrao coming either side of Nemanja Matic's stunning equaliser.
There it is. Shane Long gets the plaudits from from John O'Shea and it's a point apiece.
Norwich midfielder Elliott Bennett:, external Get in there, Wesley. Won't see Wes head many - but a great assist.
Bournemouth's former Republic of Ireland defender Ian Harte:, external Love it.
Ipswich Town's Irish striker Noel Hunt:, external Booooooooooom!!!! Shane Long, get in there!!!
Germany will be pleased with that goal too.
Ireland get a corner...
At times in the first half it looked like Poland would win this comfortably but after the break the hosts have been much improved. Robert Lewandowski has been kept quiet but now shoots over from 25 yards. Is that the last effort of the night?
There are five minutes added on as well. Still time for a winner for somebody. Poland win a corner...
They have done it! Ireland equalise in stoppage time. The corner is whipped in, Wes Hoolahan heads it back down and substitute Shane Long is there to stab it over the line via a deflection.
You have to say they deserve that.
Robbie Brady's delivery is better - Lukasz Fabianski makes a hash of it and it's a corner...
That's not how it works Mike. And you know it.
Ireland have just a few minutes left now. One last chance?
