Derby boss Steve McClaren: "Everyone saw the incident, (Danny Batth on Darren Bent) but it is gone. We were playing ever so well but that means nothing at this stage of the season, it is about getting results.

"The decisions today, I have to be careful what I say.

"We have peppered their goal, we have hit the woodwork but not defended well at our end. I am just sorry for the players who lost the game."

Wolves manager Kenny Jackett tells Sky Sports: "We were good in possession and we did well to overcome them tonight. We did not worry about Derby too much ahead of the match.

"The board have been very supportive of myself, especially in signing Benik Afobe, as long as it is young players who can do well for us.

"Nouha Dicko did have a look at me when i took him off but I understand that. We were being overrun which is why I brought David Edwards on."

Four minutes for Wolves to hold on, four minutes for Derby to rescue an effort to gain automatic promotion spot. Remember, they lost in the play-off final to QPR last season. They won't want to go into the play-offs again.

...a free-kick which is wasted by Craig Bryson. High over Tomasz Kuszczak's crossbar. Steve McClaren can't bear to look. That was rather bad.

The worrying thing for Derby fans is that there does not seem to be a Plan B. They continue to pass the ball around, maybe it needs to be pumped longer to put the Wolves defence under more pressure? They have a free-kick deep inside the Wolves half...

Another long-range effort from Jesse Lingard, another easy save for Tomasz Kuszczak. He will eat those up all night long, much like he will his birthday cake later tonight.
