Derby will have to push forward now in order to get back into the game. They play some neat passes on the edge of the Wolves area, keeping possession, but it comes to nothing.

Manager Steve McClaren - back in the stand - is not a happy man in his seat.

Breakthrough! Derby man Craig Forsyth gives the ball away in a dangerous area to Kevin McDonald, who feeds the ball into Nouha Dicko. He still has work to do with the attention of two Derby defenders, but the low, left-footed strike evades Lee Grant for the game's opening goal.

Now let's see what Derby are made of.

No changes from either side. Derby have started brighter as they look to climb the Championship table. A point tonight will be enough to take them into fourth place.

The players are back on the pitch. Referee Keith Stroud gives his whistle a toot. Derby get the game back under way.

Ronaldo Burgundy: More than 7 years since that rainy Wembley night. Doesn't stop Wolves fans singing "Where's your brolly gone?" to Steve McClaren

Stavros Makrozachopo: Derby are lacking something and it's the wrong end of the season to start lacking things in your play

Who will be the happier manager at half-time? I would say it is Wolves boss Kenny Jackett, whose side were lucky not to be a goal down from Tom Ince's effort and even luckier not to be a man down after skipper Danny Batth brought down Darren Bent.

Steve McClaren was livid on the touchline and will need to get his message across calmly to his players before the second half.

Gregory P: Absolutely disgraceful decision by the ref. Doesn't let play go as the ball goes in the net then doesn't send off the last man

Lewis Starks: Another referee... Another SHOCKING decision! How that wasn't a red I don't know. Then he books a Derby player for a pull back

michael laverton: Referee bottled it there, defender should've gone for denying GSO.

Andre Gomes gives Valencia the lead against Elche on the stroke of half-time. They could move four points clear of fourth-placed Atletico Madrid.

Second halves are under way at PSG, who lead Lorient 1-0, and Hamburg, who are goalless with Hertha Berlin.

BBC Sport's Ged Scott at Molineux

"Promising start by Wolves, but they appeared to run out of ideas the longer the first half went on and, on balance, the Rams have provided the greater first-half goal threat.

"Tomasz Kuszczak has had to make a string of saves, while the bar came to his rescue to keep out Tom Ince's chip."

And there is the whistle. Derby closest to breaking the deadlock through Tom Ince, who struck the crossbar.

Both teams happy to stand off each other with one minute to go to half-time. It has been a tremendous Championship clash so far.

Craig Bryson's free-kick is heading towards the bottom corner, but Wolves keeper Tomasz Kuszczak does well to keep it out. The home side get off with one there. Kuszczak has been busy.

Steve McClaren is very animated on the touchline and is being told to calm down by the ref. Exciting stuff!

Steve McClaren has made his way down to the touchline after that incident.

Controversy! Darren Bent is clean through on goal and is tugged back by Wolves skipper Danny Batth. It is a clear goalscoring opportunity but nothing doing from the referee. Surely a card should have been given?

Anyway, free-kick on the edge of the box...

Pressure from Derby now. Tomasz Kuszczak is forced into another save, diving left to push away another Tom Ince drive. The Rams are ramping it up as we head towards half-time.

Paris St-Germain are going top of the French table as it stands, they lead Lorient 1-0 at half-time.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic won a penalty, scored it, got injured and played on. He and Ezequiel Lavezzi have had chances to double their lead as they have dominated play.

Over in Germany, Hamburg and Hertha Berlin are goalless at the break in their relegation clash.

Valencia are also 0-0 at Elche in La Liga - there's just over 30 minutes gone there.

  19. CLOSE!published at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 20 March 2015

Good feet from Jesse Lingard before letting fly from distance. It is heading towards goal but Wolves goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak pushes it over the bar. The Polish stopper was always going to save that one.

James Henry feeds Wolves striker Nouha Dicko on the edge of the area and despite the attention of four Derby defenders, Dicko turns gets a rasping shot away which flashes just wide. It remains goalless. Wolves on top though.
