Thomas Muller has made it 3-0 to Bayern Munich against Eintracht Frankfurt. The Germany striker has fired in a right-foot volley from a very tight angle. Earlier, Robert Lewandowski scored his second of the game after 66 minutes. Mario Gotze's shot was blocked by a sliding clearance from Frankfurt's Makoto Hasebe and Lewandowski pounced to head home.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund are now losing 3-1 to Borussia Monchengladbach. Havard Nordtveit scored the home-side's third before Ilkay Gundogan pulled one back for the visitors.

It's all Real. Great work down the right leads to another fine cross by Alvaro Arbeloa towards Javier Hernandez but the Mexican can't keep his effort on target. That's two chances this half Real should have buried.

  3. CLOSE!published at 16:08 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

Great chance for Real Madrid but Luka Modric's shot from inside the box is well saved by the Eibar keeper. That should have been game, set and match.

The second half is underway at the Allianz Arena and leaders Bayern Munich lead 1-0 against Eintracht Frankfurt after a screamer from Robert Lewandowski after 15 minutes before Thomas Muller thought he had doubled Bayern's advantage but his effort was ruled offside.

Borussia Dortmund are trailing 2-0 at third-placed Borussia Monchengladbach.

Swedish defender Oscar Wendt scored in the first minute before Brazil's Raffael Caetano de Araujo doubled the lead after 32 minutes.

Half-time is fast approaching. Real are well on their way but Eibar have just forced three corners in a row. None are good enough to hurt the hosts.

The sun is beating down on the Bernabeu and Real's fans are in fine voice. Their team are well on their way to a win that piles the pressure on leaders Barcelona ahead of their tough away match at Sevilla later.

What an impact by Javier Hernandez. This is only the Mexican's second La Liga start since joining Real on loan from Manchester United. It's fair to say he enjoyed that goal judging by his celebrations.

Former Liverpool man tees-up current Manchester United striker and Real are well on their way to three more points. Alvaro Arbeloa's cross to the front post and Javier Hernandez's flicked header from six-yards flies into the net.

Incredible! That's 90 La Liga goals this season for Real Madrid while Cristiano Ronaldo is a hat-trick away from his half-century in competitive matches for his club.

Eibar's defence has been creaking and it is finally breached by the goal machine that is Cristiano Ronaldo. It's a delightful 25 yard right-foot free-kick by the Portuguese but it's terrible goalkeeping by Xabi Irureta as the ball bounces in front of the Eibar stopper before crossing the line.

So close for Real and from the most unlikely of sources. Sergio Ramos is denied by the woodwork before Javier Hernandez slots home but the striker's celebrations are cut short by an offside flag.

Real fans are not known for their patience and this could be a long afternoon for the hosts. Carlo Ancelotti's side have dominated the opening stages, spraying the ball about, but the Basque defence is doing a fine job repelling the hosts.

The ball is in the back of the Real net. The Bernabeu falls silent. A corner is whipped in and the ball is bundled over the line. But wait...the referee blows his whistle for a push by an Eibar player.

Big early chance for Real. Isco whips in a corner and the balls falls invitingly for Raphael Varane but his right-foot shot flies over. A typical defender's finish. If that had fallen to Cristiano Ronaldo you can be sure it would have landed in the net.

This is a must-win match for Real and they have made a no-nonsense start, Jese and Marcelo made early raids before whipping crosses into the Eibar penalty area. The visitors defence is under intense early pressure.
