Not even David Blaine could get out of the situation Burnley find themselves in... or could he?

Bottom and five points adrift of safety - they need a win at West Ham.

Manager Sean Dyche says the other players have to start chipping in with the goals, with start striker Danny Ings having suffered a wee barren patch of late.

"It's not just Danny, the team have to stand up," Dyche said.

"It's not a situation where you can just rely on one player. Of course he has scored goals this season and we know he has got goals in him.

"But that has to be reinforced with the team and how the team have the clarity to take chances well. It can't just be on one person."

  5. Who's in the play-offs?published at 10:23 British Summer Time 2 May 2015

Norwich and Middlesbrough can book the stewards, get some tickets printed and extend the season then. But who will take the other two spots? It's a four-team showdown.

Is Mick McCarthy about to lead a third club - Ipswich - into the Premier League?

Ipswich need a point from their trip to Blackburn to secure a place - and could well secure a two-legged play-off with rivals Norwich. Tasty.

Derby County are the side holding the golden ticket in sixth spot and a win at home to Reading this lunchtime will cement their spot.

Hoping for slip ups from the Rams and the Tractor Boys are Brentford and Wolves, who could both still sneak in on the final day.

Wolves must beat relegated Millwall to stand any chance, while Brentford also need all three points against Wigan - also already down.

  6. Who's in the play-offs?published at 10:17 British Summer Time 2 May 2015

Going up to the Premier League via the play-offs can be a truly life-changing moment for a football club. So who is still in the mix?

    NorwichImage source, PA

Middlesbrough - who could still go up automatically with a hugely unlikely 19-goal swing - and Norwich have secured their spots and will be at home in the first legs of their play-off games.

Boro are at home to Brighton this afternoon, while Norwich host Fulham.

"By the way, it was quite a lucky day for Southampton, the way we gave the goals away - that will definitely not happen on Saturday."

    Lucky? Hmm...

  14. Will Villa avoid the drop?published at 09:43 British Summer Time 2 May 2015

Would Villa fans swap an FA Cup final win for safety?

They are two points above the drop-zone, having suffered a 3-2 defeat by Arsenal last time out.

"I could have hand-picked at least five other teams who would I like to come here rather than Everton," manager Tim Sherwood said.

"They are the form team in the league. They played very well [against Manchester United], they broke very well and they can cause a lot of teams problems. They've got some exceptional players."
