Each week BBC Sport pundit Mark Lawrenson predicts the results of the Premier League games. This week he is up against world snooker champion Mark Selby, who has tipped West Ham to do his Leicester City side a favour by winning 2-0 at Loftus Road.

  4. The players aren't on the beach yet - Allardycepublished at 14:54 British Summer Time 25 April 2015

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce says: "We played extremely well at Leicester and shouldn't have lost the game but Leicester are fighting for their lives so we have to match the fight that QPR have and Burnley will have here.

"The players have to realise they are not on the beach yet - far from it. The focus should be that we want to finish on a high.

"People think we're having a bad season because our bad run is coming at the end of the season. Finishing the season well gives everyone a high going into the summer.

"We wanted to finish with more points than we've ever managed and we should've achieved that a long time ago."

  5. QPR need me, says boss Ramseypublished at 14:52 British Summer Time 25 April 2015

QPR boss Chris Ramsey says: "I wouldn't say I'm expecting the sack if QPR are relegated but I've been in the game a long time and you have to be realistic about what generally happens, whether it's fair or not fair.

"I'm going to say it would be unfair because I'll be shopping in Lidl instead of Waitrose, I'll have a different shopping basket.

"I have to look at it from my personal point of view. The club have to do the best for their long term and if it's not me, I'd fully support whatever they decided to do.

"But I think it is me. I think the club long-term needs someone like me to have a holistic approach of building the club."

Tom Holmes: If Big Sam goes it's a disgrace. How many others could make such top-class signings and lead this side to a top-10 finish?

Charles Ridley: Better performance needed from West Ham today. A top-10 finish and derby win would be good.

  9. Happy Hammers?published at 14:45 British Summer Time 25 April 2015

So what do we make of West Ham's season? As Steve says, they made a bright start with European football seriously talked about as a potential target.

But in 2015, the wheels have come off for the Hammers, and once again the fans are criticising manager Sam Allardyce. The Hammers boss still does not know if he will be in charge of the team next season.

Yet the Hammers could still come eighth, which would represent their highest finish since they came seventh in 2001-02.

BBC Match of the Day commentator

"It'll be interesting to see how two weeks without a game has impacted on QPR - a break from the claustrophobic pressure may have done them the world of good.

"Luckily for Rangers, today's opponents are arguably in worse form than they are. Like the Christmas decorations in Mr Scrooge's house, West Ham started coming down on Boxing Day. Sam Allardyce's team have slipped from fourth to 10th, taking only 12 points in their last 16 games.

"Despite only two league wins in 16 games, Rangers can point to small margins. Six of their last seven defeats have been by a single goal. Rangers aren't bad at all - but maybe they're just not quite good enough?"

Cast your minds back to May 2014. Bobby Zamora's dramatic last-minute winner gave QPR a 1-0 win over Derby in the Wembley play-off final to take the R's back into the big time.

But, just like the other teams that came up from the Championship, QPR have found it tough going in the Premier League.
