That is very poor by Cristiano's Ronaldo's standards. The forward drags a shot wide of goal after being played through by Isco. Should have scored.

Just one more chance for Martin Odegaard to become Real's youngest ever player this evening as Asier Illarramendi is replaced by Lucas Silva. Will the Norwegian be the third and final sub?

James Rodriguez is replaced to a decent ovation by Isco. The Colombian deserves the applause for his opener alone.

Almeria's Mauro Dos Santos definitely got the final touch for Real's second goal. That was why no celebration from Cristiano Ronaldo.

Don't be surprised to see Real get near Barcelona's six goals from last night. It is one-way traffic at the start of this half and the hosts finally look hungry for goals.

AC Milan fans are protesting at the San Siro tonight. Their match at home to Genoa is already under way and since the shot above was taken supporters have arranged themselves into a shape spelling the Italian word 'basta', which means 'enough'.

The Rossoneri are enduring their worst season since 1997-98 and are currently in 10th.

It looks like being a miserable end to a miserable season for Parma. They are now 3-0 down to Lazio within 20 minutes thanks to Antonio Candreva's strike. If they lose, they are down unless Atalanta lose to Cesena. It is currently 0-0.

Cristiano Ronaldo is standing in an offside position but he gets away with it as he looks to tap home Toni Kroos's low cross from the right. Almeria's Mauro dos Santos gets there first though for an own goal.

Peter Collins: I really hope he gets on, but who exactly does Odegaard replace in Real's team? Would Ancelotti want to change anything?
