Irvine: Getafe must be wondering what they have done to deserve such a thrashing...
Anyone reckon Barcelona will not go five points clear of Real Madrid after tonight's match? Me neither. That leaves the Catalans needing four more wins to reclaim the Spanish title from Atletico Madrid.
Third-placed Atletico, however, are likely to have a say in the title race - the defending champions host Barca on the penultimate weekend of the season.
Seven shots. Five goals. That is the story of Barcelona's half. Here are the rest of the stats from the Nou Camp...
The clock ticks barely a second past the allotted 45 minutes before referee David Fernandez Borbalan puts Getafe out of their misery. Wouldn't fancy taking the half-time team-talk in the away dressing room. Would you? What on Earth would you say?!
Jafer, Liverpool fan in Birmingham: I miss Luis Suarez. So, so much.
Barcelona players are piling forward - they are like schoolboys desperate to put their names on the scoresheet in a rout. Rafinha is the latest man to want a slice of the scoring pie, bursting into the Getafe box to collect Messi's pass. Bu he can only drag his shot across the face of the away goal.
If Getafe were in the wrestling ring, they would be tapping out on the canvas. Luis Suarez smashes in the fifth, curling in from the edge of the box a la Xavi (see 30 mins). Lionel Messi was the architect, driving into the heart of the Getafe defence before passing into Xavi, who flicked behind him to Suarez. And he did the rest.
Will: Messi, Suarez and Neymar have scored more this season than the bottom three in the Premier League put together. Spectacular
No sign of Barcelona taking their foot off the pedal before the break. Neymar makes another cut into the away defence down the left, but cannot find a Blaugrana shirt with the cut-back, before Getafe keeper Vicente Guaita races off his line to gather a long ball intended for Luis Suarez.
It has been suggested that Luis Enrique has struggled to win over the Barcelona fans since returning as manager in the summer. But they are firmly on his side now. His name echoes around the Nou Camp.

"Messi, Neymar And Suárez have now scored 100 goals this season. Outrageous."
There is almost a stunned silence around the Nou Camp - even the most optimistic Barca can't have predicted such a start. Yes - as my colleague has just pointed out - it is only Getafe. But Barca have been sublime and clinical in the opening half hour.
This is beautiful. Xavi, the ageing midfield maestro, shows that you simply do not lose it. The Barca captain, almost nonchalantly, bends one into the top corner from 20 yards. Wow...
Pack the kitbag and start up the team bus. Getafe might as well head home now. Barcelona cruise into a surely unassailable lead as Neymar picks up Luis Suarez's pass, twists and turns in the Getafe box, then calmly drills into the bottom corner. Game over.
Exhibition stuff from Barca now. This could be a rugby score if Getafe are not careful...
If I had an applause emoticon I would definitely be using it now! Majestic stuff from Barcelona as Luis Suarez meets Lionel Messi's precise dink over the Getafe defence with a crunching volley into the top corner. Getafe keeper Vicente Guaita was rooted to his spot.
Luis Suarez tries his luck with a cheeky chip from just inside the Getafe box. Anything Messi can do, eh? And why not - the Uruguyan is a striker in hot form. This time, however, it does not come off as the lanky Getafe keeper Vicente Guaita easily gathers.
We're asking how do you see the Spanish title race panning out? Where will Barca and Madrid drop points in the next few weeks? Who deserves the crown and, most importantly, why?
Sam Borni: Sevilla-Real to draw but Atleti to beat Barca later in the season. Real win, 92pts-91. Revision procrastination at its finest.

Don't panic Barca fans - normal service has resumed. Barca are camped inside the Getafe half, with Lionel Messi trying his luck with a low shot. But, for once, the Argentine magician does not hit the target. There's a rarity....
