Why does tonight's match mean so much? Because the Spanish title is at stake.

Barcelona, bidding to regain the trophy from those cheeky intruders Atletico Madrid, will move five points clear of arch-rivals Real Madrid with a win.

Madrid, of course, host relegation-threatened Almeria tomorrow.

Alright, alright, I may have misled you a little bit. It isn't that Madrid team. Nor is it the other Madrid team.

But it is a Madrid team. And in the independence-seeking region of Catalonia, nobody from the Spanish capital is welcomed with open arms.

The visit of mid-table Getafe might not pump the adrenaline around a Barca fan's veins quite like Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid.

But you can bet your last Euro that they will be up for tonight's match...
