Anyway, that's all from me. You can catch further post-match reaction, plus all the latest on an eventful day of Premier League action, on our main live text.

We might even have a Royal baby name for you at some point. You never know.

Some quick stats for you: Stoke committed 18 fouls during that match. That's a lot of fouls. (Swansea, not entirely innocent themselves, committed nine.)

Swansea managed 10 shots from inside the box to Stoke's three, which is a pretty fair reflection of how the home side got on top in the second half.

Now, I realise that the race for seventh place in the Premier League is not one to quicken the pulse, but these are great times for Swansea. I may be the 43,756,245th person to point out that they nearly dropped out of the Football League 12 years ago, but repetition does not make their story any less remarkable.

  4. 'We want to nick seventh'published at 16:59 British Summer Time 2 May 2015

Swansea midfielder Jonjo Shelvey: "We want to cement eighth place and maybe nick seventh. We have to keep pushing. The gaffer won't let us rest. He's pushed us harder than ever this week."

The Levellers' 1997 hit What A Beautiful Day blares out from the public address system as the players disappear. Swansea are firmly cemented in eighth place, and might yet fancy their chances of catching Southampton in seventh. Stoke drop one spot to 10th.

    Martin Fisher
Match of the Day commentator at the Liberty Stadium

"Swansea were ordinary in the first half, but came out of the blocks quickly in the second, and blew Stoke away."

Swansea have the points, and Jonjo Shelvey has another assist. This time, the former Liverpool midfielder collects Modou Barrow's long cross at the far post, and slides it back for substitute Ki Sung-yueng to slot his eighth goal of the season past Jack Butland.

  9. INJURY TIMEpublished at 16:48 British Summer Time 2 May 2015

It's not been a great game, but Swansea just about deserve the win. They're not there yet, though...

  10. Postpublished at 16:46 British Summer Time 2 May 2015

Stoke seeking an equaliser with the frustrated air that my dad shows when he's looking for his car keys. Peter Crouch stabs a tame shot goalwards from the edge of the area, but Lukasz Fabianski holds comfortably.

    Sorry, dad.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:45 British Summer Time 2 May 2015

From the resulting free-kick, Jonjo Shelvey wallops a shot towards the top corner, but Stoke keeper Jack Butland flies to his left to tip the ball over. Butland, who has had to wait a long time for a Premier League appearance, has done nothing wrong today.

  12. RED CARDpublished at 16:42 British Summer Time 2 May 2015

Stoke managed to get all the way to their 35th Premier League game of the season without a red card - but their unblemished record has gone.

Marc Wilson, already on a yellow, hacks down Jefferson Montero and is dismissed. No argument there.

  13. Postpublished at 16:41 British Summer Time 2 May 2015

Peter Crouch, as Peter Crouch does, has immediately set about making a nuisance of himself, and Swansea keeper Lukasz Fabianski appears to indulge in a little bit of wrestling to prevent the Stoke forward getting on the end of a cross.

  14. DOUBLE SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:38 British Summer Time 2 May 2015

A double change from Mark Hughes as he looks to save the game. Peter Odemwingie, who has missed most of the season with damaged knee ligaments, comes on in attack, as does Peter Crouch. Jon Walters and Mame Biram Diouf - who haven't offered a whole lot between them - have come off.

At long, long, long last. Jonjo Shelvey, in the eyes of the linesman, just about keeps the ball in play before digging out a cross for Jefferson Montero. The Ecuador winger sneaks in behind Phil Bardsley at the back post to head in his first goal for Swansea.

I've got to be honest, I don't think that's going to stop this game being last on Match of the Day tonight. But it's something.

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:31 British Summer Time 2 May 2015

Having been the aggressor earlier in the half, Marko Arnautovic is now the victim. Swansea full-back Angel Rangel is rightly booked for dragging back the Stoke forward.

The floodlights are on at the Liberty Stadium. Has no one told winter it should have finished in March?

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:29 British Summer Time 2 May 2015

Charlie Adam was Stoke's main man during April, but this has been a quiet start to May. Having struggled to make an impact in an attacking midfield role, Adam is taken off and replaced by Stephen Ireland for the last 20 minutes. Ireland hasn't scored a league goal since December 2013. Now's your chance, fella.

  18. Postpublished at 16:27 British Summer Time 2 May 2015

Stoke midfielder Steven N'Zonzi is hobbling after being caught by Swansea left-back Neil Taylor. Looked a fair challenge, though - Taylor got the ball. N'Zonzi's a pretty tough character, and looks as if he's going to run off his pain.

Still no goals here. Still no news on a Royal baby name. Which will we get first?

    The tension. Ooh, the tension.

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Wales Sport at the Liberty Stadium

"This match has come alive in the second half, with Gylfi Sigurdsson twice going close for Swansea and Stoke's Mame Biram Diouf incurring the wrath of the home fans by appearing to dive in the Swans' penalty area.

"The Potters' Marko Arnautovic could count himself fortunate as well, with referee Craig Pawson not spotting his ugly challenge on Nathan Dyer in which the Austrian's studs appeared to catch the Swansea winger above his ankle. Arnautovic's reprieve from a yellow card, though, is only temporary."
