I've had another look at Michael Duff's red card. Scott Arfield looks like he is right there to challenge Kouyate - it's really, really harsh.
West Ham XI: Adrian, Jenkinson, Collins, Burke, Cresswell, Amalfitano, Noble, Kouyate, Nolan, Downing, Valencia. Subs: Jaaskelainen, Jarvis, Nene, O'Brien, Cole, Song, Oxford
Burnley XI: Heaton, Trippier, Shackell, Duff, Mee, Boyd, Arfield, Jones, Taylor, Barnes, Ings. Subs: Gilks, Wallace, Kightly, Sordell, Reid, Jutkiewicz, Keane

Danny Ings has a chance of his own making, but can't make it count. The Clarets' top scorer injects a bit of pace into his stride and comes off the touchline, into the area, and shoots wide.
Burnley manage to free Ashley Barnes down the right channel. But he's dinked ball into the middle is safely grasped by Adrian. West Ham carry the ball with purpose straight up the other end, but Stewart Downing also hits the keeper with his cross.
It's worth noting that Downing has been terrific today, always wanting the ball down the right flank.
It doesn't seem to have made too much difference. Kevin Nolan has space at the near post and flicks goalwards, but it's just wide.
Burnley will have a reshuffle for the second half, as they attempt to deal with Michael Duff's red card.
George Boyd is the man to make way, with Michael Keane coming to slot into the back four.
Jamie has enlightened me as to who Mr Moo is, the name referred to on the Hammers PA system.
Jamie Kanawaty: It's "Mr Moon" which is a security code for the WHU officials
Thanks, Jamie.
As it all stands, Burnley are a whopping eight points off safety, with just three more games to come after this. Even my most basic of maths suggests that anything but wins for Burnley and defeats for the teams above them would spell relegation, if things stay as they are.
The reason the gap has potentially increased is because Aston Villa are leading Everton 2-0 and Sunderland are drawing with Southampton.
In a small glimmer of hope for the Clarets, QPR are losing at Liverpool.
Where do Burnley go from here? They must feel like the world is against them at the moment.
After last week's drama of Matty Taylor missing a penalty and Leicester scoring their winner 59 seconds later, it is a controversial red card that has them in a muddle this week.
Kieran Trippier hits a free-kick over the West Ham bar, before Aaron Cresswell has a crack from distance at the other end, with the same result. And that will be that for the first half.
The PA system has just made a curious announcement at Upton Park.
"Could the secretary be aware that Mr Moo is in the ground."
Anyone? No, me neither.
Try telling Mark Noble that Sam Allardyce isn't worth playing for. He really enjoyed that penalty.
He probably didn't enjoy the booking he has just received for catching Scott Arfield.
Enner Valencia is in the thick of it, isn't he? Well, now he's in the book after catching Danny Ings with his elbow in an aerial challenge.
Burnley are forced into a bit more panicked defending. But Enner Valencia is offside, so the Clarets can breathe easy.
Now we've got a chance to breathe, we can have a closer look at Michael Duff's sending off.
It's not your classic last-man scenario, with Cheikhou Kouyate through on goal. Instead the Hammers man has jinked into the area and drawn a foul from Duff.
He was likely about to pull the trigger - so has Duff denied a goal-scoring opportunity? Referee Jonathan Moss says, "yes".
Munch Veevers: In what world, nay, dimension, was that a red card for Michael Duff? Burnley really are the unluckiest team in the Premier League.
Agubata Odinaka: Harsh red card to Duff for me...now West Ham will go on to get a draw in a match they would have certainly lost as usual

There's some hope for Burnley. Kieran Tripper crosses in from a corner and Ashley Barnes connects with a good header, but Adrian is equal to it. It looks like the Hammers keeper may have used a bit of thigh to keep it out - as long as he gets the job done.
Elsewhere, Burnley's relegation rivals Sunderland were 1-0 up on Southampton after Jordi Gomez's penalty. But the lead lasted barely a minute, with Sadio Mane equalising.
Tom Heaton is at it again, touching Morgan Amalfitano's half-volley around the post. Burnley need to get organised, and they need to do it quickly.
It should be 2-0 to West Ham. Enner Valencia receives the ball 10 yards out from Stewart Downing's pass and clips it towards goal, but it's a terrific save by Tom Heaton. The 10 men of Burnley are shell shocked.
Duff was done all ends up by Kouyate, who cut back in on to his right foot and was caught by the Burnley man.
Mark Noble makes no mistake from the spot.
