  1. Hull out of the bottom threepublished at 15:34 British Summer Time 9 May 2015

Hang on, that gap has totally disappeared! Hull, who are almost celebrating themselves as Dame N'Doye's header whizzes just over the Burnley bar, are now out of the bottom three! How? Because Newcastle are losing at home to West Brom, meaning the Magpies drop into the bottom three....

Goal! Not here at the KC Stadium, but down at Villa Park. And it is another big goal in the race for survival, Tom Cleverley sticking Aston Villa ahead against West Ham. The gap between Hull and the rest is getting wider.

And Burnley are rewarded with their first chance. In fact it is their first touch inside the Hull penalty area. Ashley Barnes leans back to meet the corner but cannot keep down his header. The big Burnley striker sticks his head in his hands in disappointment.

You can't fault Burnley's attacking intent though, Kieran Trippier working hard down the right flank to win an away corner...

I can't see Burnley scoring in the next five hours, never mind the next five minutes. The away side have a free-kick in another promising area, around 35 yards out from the home goal, but Kieran Trippier's delivery is again too strong for his skipper Jason Shackell to divert goalwards.

Burnley set a new club record last weekend of failing to score in six consecutive top-flight matches - and they are closing in on a full 10 HOURS without scoring. Unless they bag in the next five minutes that is....

Please can we have a scoring chance? Pretty please? Yes, we can! Hull carve out the game's clearest opportunity, Robbie Brady teasing in a delicious outswinging cross to the far post where Ahmed Elmohamady arrives to head over the Burnley crossbar.

Burnley have shaded possession in the opening quarter of the match, holding 56% of the ball, but neither side has yet managed to stick a shot on target.

Chance for Hull City as they look to replicate Leicester's success. Robbie Brady skips across the left byeline and into the Burnley box, but sees Clarets skipper Jason Shackell hack away from inside his six-yard box.

  10. Leicester score...againpublished at 15:20 British Summer Time 9 May 2015

Was that a collective groan I just heard around the KC Stadium? Could well have been. That's because Leicester have doubled their lead against Southampton. The Foxes are two points clear of third-bottom Hull as it stands.

Another set-piece, another wasted opportunity. This time Burnley are the guilty party, Kieran Trippier floating in a heavy ball from the left which goes over every head in the box.

Moment of concern for the Burnley fans housed behind the goal which their team is defending. Clarets keeper Tom Heaton goes to collect a cross but is beaten to the ball by his skipper Jason Shackell, who heads out for a Hull corner. That set-piece comes to nothing however...

Hull are clinging on to possession again, having held just 34% of the ball in the opening stages. But the Tigers lack conviction in the final third, restricted to two more speculative shots from Sone Aluko and Jake Livermore. Aluko's effort is blocked, while Livermore's is high, wide and, frankly, awful.

What a waste. Robbie Brady hits the Hull free-kick - but only finds the Burnley wall. However, the visitors don't clear their lines, allowing Tom Huddlestone to shoot just wide from distance.

If news of that goal has filtered through to the KC Stadium, then it doesn't sound like it. Hull fans are continuing to back their side, but the players aren't responding to their vocal support yet. Ahmed Elmohamady swings in a curling cross from the right flank but the Burnley defence head away the danger.

  18. Leicester leadpublished at 15:08 British Summer Time 9 May 2015

Uh oh, bad news for both teams is incoming. Leicester take an early lead against Southampton, Riyad Mahrez smashes in a 20-yard effort to move the Foxes two points clear of third-bottom Hull.

Open start to the game. Back come Burnley through their ex-Hull winger George Boyd, but his right-wing cross only finds the head of Tigers skipper Michael Dawson.

Leroy Parsons: I love the club and players and manager. But Dyche should have dropped Ings months ago his hunger has gone and unfortunately cost us. He'll be OK though as he will be going to another Premier team.
