"That's the chance, Marouane Fellaini pulls onto Francis Coquelin, nods it to Robin van Persie on his right foot but leaning back he pulled it over the bar.

"Jack Wilshere is gliding past Juan Mata, he's been very good since he came on."

Antonio Valencia exchanges passes with Juan Mata on the right before pumping a ball to the far post to Marouane Fellaini. The Belgian heads down to Robin van Persie, but the former Arsenal man's shot is blazed over the bar and into the Stretford End upper.

Paul lummis:, external Poor reading of the game, poor positioning, not good enough. Blackett may undo in 15 mins what was built in the first 75.

What have United got left to give? It looks like Arsenal who are the more likely to grab a second.

Walcott celebrates his goalImage source, Getty Images

"Theo Walcott was one on one with Tyler Blackett, he drove it across but it came off Blackett's foot and Valdes was expecting to gather it. Blackett's not got tight enough, he stuck his studs out but Valdes was expecting the cross. It was a fantastic 40-yard ball across to Walcott."

    ANOTHER?? NO!

Olivier Giroud flicks an effort at the front post, and half the United crowd think it's in, but the ball hits the side netting. Oh so close. He could not have done more.

Oh dear. On first look it seems like a bad error from Victor Valdes on his debut..

..but Theo Walcott won't mind. He weaves in and out of Tyler Blackett, before attempting to fire low across goal. The ball diverts drastically off the United man and sneaks in at the front post. Valdes, wrongfooted, was heading the other way.

Arsenal barely deserve that, but I did say it was coming the longer the game went on.

Foul by Juan Mata, you don't see that too often. Seems like such a nice guy.

"Ashley Young keeps drawing Francis Coquelin, who is fouling him all too easily but waving his hands in the air - but he keeps fouling him."

Corner for United, as Juan Mata trots over to take it. Oh, it's Ashley Young now. Time-wasting perhaps.

Ball swung in by Young towards Marouane Fellaini, but he can't control it. If he had, he was homing in on David Ospina's goal.

Into the last 10 minutes of the game. Arsene Wenger looks pensive on the Arsenal bench. Nearly a mix-up at the back between a couple of United defenders but no lasting damage. Surely, Louis van Gaal will bring in a defender or two in the summer.

Andy Donley:, external De Gea didn't exactly look like he was saying goodbye to the fans... He must be staying! Hope.

Matthew Ryan:, external If that's the last we see of De Gea at United I'll be sad, but I'll treasure watching him grow from a timid teen to world class.

Ouch. Tyler Blackett with a hefty challenge on Theo Walcott, leaving the Arsenal winger floundering. Is there another goal in this game?

United still looking for the elusive second goal. Pass, pass, pass, right, centre, left, but no way through the roadblock.

First touch for Victor Valdes in a United shirt, which is a long, punt upfield. Bit different from the tiki-taka he is used to.
