    And that folks, is that.

A truly terrific performance by Leicester which sums up their last two months of the season.

It is an afternoon that also sums up QPR's season - awful.

They were second best all day long and were heavily beaten.

A summer of content for Nigel Pearson, a summer of discontent for Chris Ramsey.

And with that, we're signing off. Head here for more live text commentary of today's games.

  2. GOALpublished at 16:42 British Summer Time 24 May 2015

Andrej Kramaric fires in from inside the penalty area after QPR make yet another defensive error, failing to deal with a routine long kick from Foxes keeper Kasper Schmeichel.

This really is horrible for Rangers. They have been completely outplayed and outclassed by a side they came up with from the Championship last season.

  3. Postpublished at 16:41 British Summer Time 24 May 2015

Leicester continue to dominate here and the King Power gets ever-more nosier.

The fans on all four sides are on their feet and clapping. It must be music to the area of Nigel Pearson, and incredibly annoying for a very deflated Chris Ramsey.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:38 British Summer Time 24 May 2015

Karl Henry makes way for youngster Brandon Comley for the final 10 minutes.

And why not, Chris Ramsey has to plan for next season now. It's going to be an interesting summer at Loftus Road with one heck of a clearout expected.

The crowd rise as one to salute Esteban Cambiasso as the Argentine makes way for Danny Drinkwater.

The club's player of the year, who scored a lovely left-footed goal today, has yet to decide whether or not to stay next season. It is clear what the fans want him to do. They love him.

Cambiasso, signing of the season? Discuss.

Some news in from the Britannia Stadium. Steven Gerrard has just scored for Liverpool. On his last ever appearance. Of course he would.

Pity Stoke were already five goals up...

A decent pic of Marc Albrighton's strike just before half-time.

For QPR, that must feel like an awful long time ago now.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:24 British Summer Time 24 May 2015

Great reception for Jamie Vardy as the England man - bet the lad will never tire of seeing that - is substituted in the 65th minute.

It's a chance for Andrej Kramaric to make an impression. He gets a good reception as he saunters on and will be desperate for a second Premier League goal.

The Leicester fans in the stand have unfurled a banner saying 'The greatest escape ever'. They could be right.

Victory here - and let's face it, Leicester are going to win - will be seven wins in the last nine matches.

What a turnaround from a team bottom of the table and seven points adrift heading into April. Astonishing.

  11. GOALpublished at 16:13 British Summer Time 24 May 2015

Charlie Austin with a terrific header. Joey Barton gets the assist, chipping the ball into the area and Austin rises highest to guide the ball beyond Kasper Schmeichel and net his 18th goal of the season.

  12. Postpublished at 16:12 British Summer Time 24 May 2015

"You fear for QPR every time Leicester put the ball into their area now," says Simon Brotherton on Match of the Day.

Nail on head. This could be a rout.

  13. GOALpublished at 16:09 British Summer Time 24 May 2015

Yes, definitely game over. Esteban Cambiasso drills in a low shot from 12 yards, which thunders in the net and the King Power Stadium goes berserk.

  14. GOALpublished at 16:08 British Summer Time 24 May 2015

Leonardo Ulloa, with his 13th goal of the season. The striker doesn't know much about it, Wes Morgan's deflected drive from the edge of the box hitting the Argentine in the midriff and nestling in the bottom corner. Game over?

  15. Postpublished at 16:06 British Summer Time 24 May 2015

A very dodgy offside decision goes against Reece Grego-Cox, who latches on to a deflected shot six yards out and with only the keeper to beat - only to see the flag go up (wrongly).

But given the teenager missed the target, he'll no doubt be rather relieved the linesman made an error and spared his blushes.

We're under way again at the King Power and the hosts have made a change.

Rory Delap replaces Marcin Wasilewski, who we think has gone off with a shoulder injury.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 16:02 British Summer Time 24 May 2015

    It's tough being a goalie.

The half-time break has been dominated by replays of Leicester's first goal, when Alex McCarthy fumbled Riyad Mahrez's shot, allowing Jamie Vardy to score.

It really was a shocker of a mistake from a man only in the side because of an injury to Rangers' usual number one Rob Green.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:52 British Summer Time 24 May 2015

It is fair to say that Leicester are flying at the moment.

The Foxes have earned 19 points from their last eight matches, having earned the same number of points from their first 29 league fixtures.

On top of that, Nigel Pearson's men have kept five clean sheets in their last six matches - as many as they had managed in their previous 31 league games.

And, get this: they are on the verge of winning three consecutive top-flight home matches without conceding a goal for the first time since January to February 1977.

This could be quite a day for the Foxes. They're halfway there.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 24 May 2015

    Simon Brotherton
    Match of the Day commentator

"There was a celebratory mood among the crowd before the match and there is at half-time too.

"It has been Leicester dominating from the first whistle and QPR have an awful lot to do."

Very true. Barring a miracle, there is only one winner here.

  20. GOALpublished at 15:43 British Summer Time 24 May 2015

Marc Albrighton smashes the ball into the net from 12 yards. His second goal for the club.

A break down the left flank, Schlupp crosses, QPR fail to clear their lines, and Albrighton is allowed to run unchallenged into the box and hammer the ball in.

Great for Leicester, awful viewing for QPR fans. Such a bad goal to concede, which perhaps tells you all you need to know about Rangers' season.
