Jamie Vardy enjoyed his goal.
And so too will have Roy Hodgson. Vardy, remember, has been called up for England's games against the Republic of Ireland and Slovenia next month.
Leicester XI: Schmeichel, Morgan, Vardy, King, Albrighton, Huth, Schlupp, Cambiasso, Ulloa, Mahrez, Wasilewski.
QPR XI: McCarthy, Onuoha, Hill, Dunne, Suk-Young, Phillips, Henry, Barton, Fer, Austin, Grego-Cox.

Jamie Vardy enjoyed his goal.
And so too will have Roy Hodgson. Vardy, remember, has been called up for England's games against the Republic of Ireland and Slovenia next month.
That was the very definition of missed by a whisker.
Matty Phillips, with QPR's first real effort of note, thunders a shot from 20 yards just past the post with Schmeichel well beaten.
Unlucky. Great effort. Will it gives Rangers some confidence? Hope so, from a neutral's point of view it has been too one-sided so far.
Jamie Vardy almost doubles his tally for the afternoon, meeting Marc Albrighton's right-wing cross and planting a firm effort goalwards - but keeper McCarthy atones for his earlier error by stopping the ball in the nick of the time.
That should make McCarthy feel better. It's probably been a long 20 minutes since that Foxes goal.
Half chance for Leonardo Ulloa. After good play from Marc Albrighton on the right, the Foxes striker hooks a difficult chance on to the roof of the net.
Leicester still very much in control. QPR chairman Tony Fernandes and director of football Les Ferdinand are looking mighty gloomy up in the stand - though that's probably because the free beer voucher wasn't extended to the away contingent...
And here, perhaps, is the reason why. Remember that free beer voucher the owners are handing out to home fans today...
Go on chaps, drink up.
Here's the scene at the King Power stadium, which kind of says it all really. The atmosphere, helped by that early Vardy striker, is bouncing.
Defender Nedum Onuoha shows exactly why he's a defender.
He provides QPR's first shot at goal, but misses the target by about 35 yards. Not surprisingly, home keeper Kasper Schmeichel doesn't bother moving.
Just before that Vardy strike, there was a slightly embarrassing moment for Reece Grego-Cox.
The 18-year-old, making his full Premier League debut, strode towards the edge of the box and was primed to shoot. He was dreaming of a fairytale start to the game. He brought his right foot back, went to smash it and... his left foot slipped, he hit the tamest of shots which involved the ball rolling gently sideways, and then fell to the ground.
Not one he'll enjoy watching back on Match of the Day later.
Was there a hint of offside about that goal?
Vardy looked straight at the linesman after knocking the ball home, as if fearful it would be ruled out. But the replay shows the linesman got it spot on - onside.
And speak of the devil, Jamie Vardy scores from close range.
It's a horror moment for keeper Alex McCarthy. Replacing the injured Rob Green, and making only his second start of he season, the 25-year-old spills a tame-looking shot from Riyad Mahrez and Vardy is there to smash the ball into the net.
What a way to celebrate that England call-up.
Jamie Vardy should have an extra spring in his step this afternoon.
The 28-year-old was called up to Roy Hodgson's England squad this week, less than three years after playing in Fleetwood Town's Conference title-winning side of 2012.
Vardy, who became the most expensive non-league footballer when he signed for the Foxes for £1m in May 2012, has been included in England's squad for the games against Republic of Ireland and Slovenia in June.
The frontman played a key role in the Championship-winning side of 2013-14 and has been a regular in the Foxes' remarkable end-of-season run which has seen Nigel Pearson's side retain their Premier League status with a game to spare.
Nasty moment for Riyad Mahrez as the Leicester man takes a tumble and appears to pull a muscle in the groin area.
He looks in pain - as you would be if you hurt your groin; no man wants that - but gets to his feet after a couple of minutes of treatment. It's good news for the Foxes, for Mahrez has been a key man this campaign - 25 league starts and four goals.
It is all Leicester early doors.
With the club's player of the season, the evergreen Esteban Cambiasso, pulling the strings, the Foxes are dominant.
Jeffrey Schlupp smashes a shot into the side netting. Close but no cigar.
The din still hasn't died down, the fans are loving every minute of this.
"This is akin to a celebratory homecoming fro the Leicester players. The home fans have a chance to thank their heroes," says BBC Match of the Day commentator Simon Brotherton.
"For QPR it is the last place they want to be having a look at what might have been for them. Getting back out of the Championship is easier said than done."
Leonardo Ulloa, Leiester's 12-goal top scorer, comes so close to an early opener but curls his shot inches wide after breaking into the box. Almost the perfect start.
And we're off. The King Power in bouncing, that free beer the club has handed out clearly having an effect.
The pitch looks terrific - let's hope the match is too.
Sorry for this QPR fans ... though it does prove that there is something at stake today for Rangers, who, presumably, will be mighty keen to avoid having their own dubious Premier League claim to fame.
QPR won the reverse fixture in November 3-2, with Charlie Austin scoring the winner.
The only previous Premier League meetings between the sides came in the 1994-95 season; Rangers won 2-0 at home and drew 1-1 away.
Mark Lawrenson has done his usual predictions for the BBC Sport website, which you'll find here.
He reckons today's encounter will end 2-0 to the Foxes.
"Leicester's survival is a fantastic achievement," said Lawro. "Foxes manager Nigel Pearson has had a difficult campaign for all sorts of reasons but, like his players, he came through."
BBC Match of the Day commentator Simon Brotherton with some thoughts ahead of today's game:
"After the great escape was completed last weekend at Sunderland, it's a chance for Leicester fans to welcome the team home and celebrate Premier League survival.
The supporters deserve it too, after backing the team and the manager throughout, while creating a constantly noisy and positive atmosphere during recent home games.
In stark contrast, this fixture doesn't offer much for any QPR fan thinking of heading up the M1 for one last Premier League game.
It promises to be a summer of change at Loftus Road, with head coach Chris Ramsey - already appointed on a permanent basis - and director of football Les Ferdinand ready to start a major clearout."
