Kick-off in England's opening match against one of the tournament favourites is a little over 45 minutes away in the Canadian city of Moncton.
Mark Sampson's side are relatively late to the party with eight games - and 33 goals - already notched up in the tournament.
The best bits so far have included an humdinging 3-3 draw between Sweden and Nigeria last night and an ominous 10-0 tanking of the Ivory Coast by defending champions Germany.
Goal-scoring wise think more Brazil 2014 than Italia 90.
Will England's lionesses roar at the Women's World Cup?

France have left out striker Marie Laure Delie - scorer of 58 goals in 86 games for Les Blues - with Juvisy's Gaetane Thiney preferred up front.

"Interesting team from Mark Sampson as England look to contain threat of France's pacy right winger Elodie Thomis. There are five changes to the team which lost to Canada in their final friendly, with defender Lucy Bronze starting on the left of midfield in a 4-5-1. Ellen White will play on the left, while Fara Williams will sit behind Jill Scott and Katie Chapman. Eni Aluko starts up front."
England starting XI: Bardsley, Scott, Rafferty, Williams, Houghton (c), Bassett, Scott, Aluko, Bronze, Chapman, White
First, some numbers.
Four years ago, three-two up in a shoot-out, two penalties left for both teams and a first-ever last-four spot within reach.
That was the situation the last time England played France at the Women's World Cup.
But misses from Claire Rafferty and Faye White - combined with successful conversions from their French counterparts - ensured that it all eventually totted up to another quarter-final exit for England.
Tonight they start their 2015 campaign against the same opponents. Can they find the right answer this time around?
