The last two Europa League finals have been goalless at the break.
Not this one!
So 5-5 anyone?
Both teams are throwing men forward and looking as though they can score with every attack.
Both managers will look to tighten things up at the break surely? Hope they don't do. This is enjoyable.
This game just gets better.
Dnipro skipper Ruslan Rotan sizes up a free-kick 25 yards out. He takes a few steps back, approaches the ball, and curls it over the wall and into the top corner.
Goalkeeper Sergio Rico was nowhere near it.
What a match.
Marcus: Once again the much-maligned Europa League providing proper football fun. You can stick your play-acting, bus-parking Champions League (except most aren't champions)

Not from that delivery but they come forward again as they start pressing the Spaniards further up the pitch.
Their new pressing tactic leaves gaps at the other end though and, after losing the ball, they nearly concede as Aleix Vidal screams a shot over the bar.
Thrilling stuff so far.
No team has ever retained the Europa League...
Sevilla are well on their way to doing so. but Dnipro have reacted well.
They have a corner. Can they equalise before the break?
eurofoot: It's a pity @carlos7bacca 's first name wasn't Chew. #chewbaccaforsevilla
JohnMadrid: Only in Engand do we undervalue a tournament that gives winner a major trophy & place in CL.
DrKip: Sevilla are smokin' hot. Wenger should be slapping himself for selling Reyes. Magic! I hope the gullible Real Madrid will not dump Gareth Bale and buy Krychowiak for insane money.

Yes they can if that is anything to go by.
Dnipro's Yevhen Konoplyanka steps inside and curls a shot towards the top corner from 20 yards. It looks goal-bound all the way until a diving Sergio Rico tips the ball over the bar.
No wonder Rico has just been called up for Spain. That was class.
Dnipro look stunned.
Less than 10 minutes ago, they were ahead in their first ever European final.
Now they are behind. Can they recover?
Olivier: RE: Tom (21 minutes). Why would Konoplyanka go to Spurs? If Dnipro win this, they'll be in the Champions League group stages next year. Spurs can't offer that.

What a turnaround.
Jose Antonio Reyes slips through an absolutely delicious low pass that splits Dnipro's defence.
Carlos Bacca, Sevilla's top scorer in the competition, times his run to perfection, rounds goalkeeper Denys Boyko and slides the ball into the back of the net.
Brilliant.
It was coming. Another corner comes in from the left, Carlos Bacca knocks the ball down and Poland defender Grzegorz Krychowiak drills low through a crowd of players into the net.
The Poles in the crowd will have enjoyed that.
Rizpey: Its good defending by Dnipro but question is, can they do it for 90 minutes???

Dnipro goalkeeper Denys Boyko shows his good and bad side there.
Firstly he brilliantly dives to his left to parry away Gregorz Krychowiak's header but, from the resulting corner, he flaps at the ball and is lucky to see the ball bounce off Sevilla's Stephane Mbia and go wide.
He has a mistake in him...
Dnipro goalkeeper Denys Boyko doesn't look particularly convincing as he comes to deal with a floated free-kick into the penalty area. He just about manages to punch away before being clattered by Sevilla's Timothee Kolodzoejczak. Foul conceded but Sevilla will like what they see from Boyko.
They have a corner as well...
Tom Duncan: Cracking start for Dnipro. Konoplyanka to Spurs in the summer. Peeling off Eriksen and bashing in crosses for Kane.

It's that man again.
Joe Antonio Reyes cuts in from the right and flashes a low drive from 20 yards wide of goal. Some fans are on their feet as the ball nestles on the back of the net after rebounding off the hoarding.
Sevilla are faced with a blue wall as they continue to come forward. Dnipro look happy sitting deep and soaking up wave after wave of attack.
You can see their thinking as well as, on the rare occasion they have stolen the ball, they look dangerous on the break.
Dnipro's danger man, Yevhen Konoplyanka bursts down the left on a rare break but his cross is poor and cleared by the front man, with Nikola Kalinic waiting to pounce behind.
Arsenal fans will know all about Jose Antonio Reyes and he is looking a constant threat for Sevilla. He may have lost some of his pace but his intelligence is still there. Don't be surprised to see him have a major impact.
