    Sweden 0-0 Portugal

Portugal have had 69% of the possession so far. It feels like it should be more but they've had all the territory.

    They win another corner now.

  2. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 6 mins

    Sweden 0-0 Portugal

Sergio Oliveira is unlucky not to give Portugal the lead. The winger pings in a free-kick from 20 yards which comes back off the crossbar. Keeper Patrik Carlgren was beaten.

Sweden are on the edge here.

  3. Postpublished at 6 mins

    Sweden 0-0 Portugal

Bernardo Silva scoops the ball over a couple of Sweden defenders to find team-mate Raphael Guerreiro. You'll be hearing a lot more of the Monaco midfielder in the coming years.

  4. Postpublished at 5 mins

    Sweden 0-0 Portugal

It's all Portugal. Defender Raphael Guerreiro comes forward and Bernardo Silva, the playmaker, is in loads of space around the D but Guerreiro gets his pass wrong, in fact I'm not even sure he was trying to find Silva, and the attack is done.

As well as the title, the Golden Boot is also up for grabs. Czech Republic's Jan Kliment is the top scorer with three but Sweden striker John Guidetti and Portugal's Joao Mario are one behind - and have an assist each (which is a deciding criteria if goals are level). Swede Simon Tibbling also has two goals - although no assists.

If players are still level on goals and assists, the one to have played the fewest minutes in the tournament lifts the boot.

  6. Postpublished at 3 mins

    Sweden 0-0 Portugal

Portugal have the first chance. Bernardo Silva's cross is deflected to Ricardo just outside the box, who controls the ball but then fires wide of the near post. A bit of a let-off for Sweden who haven't had much of the ball yet.

  7. Postpublished at 2 mins

    Sweden 0-0 Portugal

Portugal start on the front foot with Ivan Cavaleiro causing mayhem down the left - he's just won a corner.

Almost ready. But first a minute's silence following the death of former Czechoslovakia midfielder Josef Masopust, the 1962 European footballer of the year, who died recently at the age of 84.

The team are very well, they are focused and fully motivated. I believe Sweden think the same as us. They are a very strong team, and so are we. I just want my players to show their quality. If we win too, that'll be perfect.

Portugal have shown the best attacking play in this tournament and I've been very impressed with a couple of their players. If you look at the rankings, they have to be favourites.

When you're a little kid you dream about playing these matches. It's a very important competition and it's a landmark for any player to win such a tournament. We are expecting support from all of Portugal.

One of Sweden's star players has been striker John Guidetti, who spent last season on loan at Celtic and is a free agent now after being released by Manchester City.

The 23-year-old, who is one goal off levelling his country's U21 goal record, gave an interview which went viral after their win over Denmark in which he seemed to almost angrily shout his answers, then sing his own chant with a team-mate before finally hugging the interviewer.

I don't think many of us will have the chance to play in a European final again. We're going to go out there to cherish the moment and be so proud that we can represent our country in such a great game.

Sweden started off with a surprise 2-1 win over Italy; John Guidetti levelling before Isaac Kiese Thelin's late winner. They lost 1-0 to England with Jesse Lingard scoring the only goal late on - and then drew 1-1 with Portugal in the draw which took both sides through.

They faced Scandinavian neighbours Denmark in the semi-finals and won 4-1, although that scoreline was slightly flattering with two goals in the final seven minutes. Guidetti, Simon Tibbling, Robin Quaison and captain Oscar Hiljemark scored their goals.

Portugal's run to the final started with a 1-0 victory over England (remember when they used to be in this tournament?) They followed that with a goalless draw against Italy and then, in the final group game six days ago, drew 1-1 with Sweden - a result which took both sides through.

But their semi-final was the game which made Europe sit up and take notice as they thrashed pre-tournament favourites Germany 5-0.

Bernardo Silva, Ricardo, Ivan Cavaleiro, Joao Mario and Joao Cancelo scored their goals.
